I have been going to the shop for last few months and gathered some beautiful layout pictures. They have very good quality furniture that I adore . It’s looks amazing. Lots of Household item, Antique, best quality pictures for house decor. Highly recommended , if you looking for very reasonable price- toys, books, kids clothes or even men & ladies clothes ( they have a section for all brand new item ) and they use all wooden hangers for their clothes , which I haven’t seen in any charity shops. Well Done to all volunteer & new manager , who make the shopping very pleasant( people might thinking why my feedback long - Because I love to donate my money to charity shop)

Said they couldn't take a portable crib for OHS reasons, but the salvos at gordon could not have been more happy to take it and the rest of our donations. Hornsby vinnies staff did nothing to help unload. They all just stood there watching me do the work. One worker was even standing there with ear pods on. Very cold staff who made me feel like a nuisance. Go to salvos. Forget these rude, lazy c***ts

I was in this store today & overheard an elderly lady ask the shop if she could use a toilet. They denied her. I then told the elderly lady I'd help her find a toilet. I took the lady to a neighbouring business who had no issue allowing the lady to use their toilet. The lady also told me she was 91 years old. Well done to the neighbouring business and a huge thumbs down to Vinnies for not helping this woman. We understand that you don't like letting customers use your toilets but fair go.....the lady was elderly. Where was your help when an elderly person needs help. You're certainly not kind hearted at all. You are a vile, evil and disgraceful organisation who is far from helpful.Absolutely disgusting behaviour towards the elderly lady.

This store used to be filled with beautiful bargains however I’ve noticed over the last few months prices have increased and no longer reflect what op shops should offer - opportunity and bargains.Today I went to the store for the first time in ages. I found a group of 6 crystal glasses priced at $8. About a year ago I bought similar sets at this price. I was thrilled with the set and took them to the cashier who told me it was $8 per glass. I told her I was confused and thought it was a set cost (normally they are priced by set) and she said if it was $8 for the set that would be cheap. ISNT THAT THE POINT OF AN OP SHOP?! I think this team have forgotten they get items for FREE, donated for a good cause, cost price zero. If they priced things like they used to they’d find stock would be flying off the shelf, turn over high, instead the same overpriced donated items are sitting on the shelves for weeks or months.Disappointed and over op shops charging an arm and a leg for stock that’s donated, it comes across as greedy. Granted it’s cheaper than RRP but it’s still an op shop!!!!!!!!! Blows my mind.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience at this Vinnies. We arrived at 4:30pm on a Wednesday with a lot of donations as we are moving our family home. We had bags and boxes of good quality clothing, bedding, tea pots and various bits and bobs to donate that we had arranged to donate via phone earlier in the day.The person working at the counter came out and asked if she should take our donations, then promptly shooed us away as she glanced the corner of a doona cover with pills on it. She told us we could not donate the items as the back room was closing because the shop closes at 5.We were being made to feel like a nuisance for our donation simply because of the time we had arrived and because there were pills on the one visible item. It was implied that we should throw all our boxes of items in the bin because it was deemed unlikely there would be any resalable items in there, and we had arrived at an inconvenient time. The experience was quite confronting and confusing and felt contradictory to the aim of Vinnies. Will be using other charity stores in future to avoid the insensitivity and judgement we felt.

A bit more expensive than most Vinnies I've visited. Had an interesting range of objects., and the staff were nice.

I hate giving 1⭐️ Review, because I really like the staff there and I been donating & purchasing there for over a year.Recently the store changed! They started selling used underwear (swim suit), put prices up (like some good soul donated you a jacket and you asking $75 ????) these prices are unrealistic for a charity store! And also the new setup looks messy ...bags are thrown on selves like nobody cares...It's a shame, because I really loved supporting you guys...

I took my friend to Hornsbys St Vincent de Paul, and the office people there were extremely cold and made her feel embarrassed for asking for food for herself and child, especially Allan there, he made a comment about her being able to afford nail polish on her toes, he then told her to try Salvos, because he couldn't help.In the Hornsby office they were very unfriendly and unhelpful and unkind, they don't deserve to have the title, 'charity', they don't belong in Hornsby!

Love this store. Wish they had a bit more women's and kids clothing but it's a wonderful store! Not super easy for disabled access- lots of stairs- but there's always such lovely customers and staff to help out!
