Northmead Growers Market

Good array of fruit and veges that seem to stay fresh a bit longer than the big brand grocery shops. There are some prepackaged options - berries, garlic, chillies, bay leaves etc - but most items are not, so I can buy just one carrot or onion without wasting food. There is also a small deli section, packaged dry goods like lentils, sauces, and a refrigerated section. If you live locally, well worth checking out Northmead Growers.

Nice family run business with a good selection of fresh, deli and pantry local and international staples. They even do tea, coffee and bubble teas! Staff are always welcoming and helpful. They're Great!

Felt all the fruits and vegetables are costlier than the big groceries nearby. Got bunch of oranges which looked beautiful outside but the inside was white and rock hard, with no taste. Very disappointed.

EXPIRED ITEMS*AVOID* UNPROFESSIONAL**I ordered my groceries from Doordash due to the pandemic i wanted to stay safe and support local business. I received my order and found the cheese was already expired 12 days ago( best before) the turkey slices were very sweaty. I complained to Doordash and they arranged a re-delivery from Northmead Growers Market. The delivery driver got to the store and advised me i needed to speak to the shop assistant and she was extremly rude on the phone telling me it wasnt possible,she told me stay on the line whilst she went to check the rest but instead she hung up on me. The order showed dasher had picked up the order so i wanted 30 min and suddenly showed it was delivered but it never arrived!. I have CCTV outside along with notifications when people approach the house and this was never the case!In this hard time as a community we try to keep each other afloat and support one another but definately wasnt the case with Growers Market!My silly mistake choosing this business as i should of went coles which was closer and cheaper!

Northmead Growers Market is an extremely high quality spot with top fruits & vegetables and lots of rare imported products you can't get anywhere else.We've gone there for years and great spot full of wonderful people.LOVE THEIR WORK!July 2021 Update: Doing a top job through lockdown!

Finally found a proper deli in the area, Charlie is friendly and helpful. Nice selection of meats, antipasto and cheeses. Will be back

Oh how I've been looking for a good local continental deli and finally I've found one, and it's part of a great fruit shop. It's pricey, but you get what you pay for. Parking is easy in this intimate little shopping village where you can pick up everything you need. All local businesses with the only chains being IGA and the post office. Definitely recommend taking the trip in this area that's almost exclusively inundated with Indian businesses.

Great selection of fruit and veg, all fresh and very tasty. Everything is priced as you would get in a supermarket, but the quality is far far superior.They also do a selection of meats, deserts, spreads and all sort of other things which always seem nice. People there are friendly and helpful to.

This place has gone downhill since new ownership. I purchased ricotta 4 days ago that turned out to be very sour (even though it had 3 days til expiry). I tried to call the shop to organise a replacement and the employee told me she couldn’t organise a replacement because her manager had left for the day. You would truly think that a store could replace a $12 basket of ricotta if it was defective…
