Lake Proserpine Camping Ground
All unpowered and no water but toilets and showers are up near check in office.Big camping variety in treed shady areas down towards dam edge in the open right onto edge.Has floating pontoon down over the water.

One of the best campgrounds I’ve stayed in QLD. Highly recommended! Great staff, lots of space, beautiful sunsets, and amazing price!

Stayed overnight on our way up north. This place is amazing. Next time we'll stay during the week for a few nights. The camping area was full as it was a Saturday night but still very peaceful as we camped up behind the office.

Lake Proserpine Camping Ground
It’s a very large and open and well known camp ground just out of Proserpine (know as the Proserpine Dam). The dam is large enough for speed boats and where I stayed with my family was the best spot, not far from the water near the Glamping Tents and a big area to ourselves with no close annoying neighbours/ other campers.It’s cheap but best to go in the Dry Season (Winter) coz Easter School Holidays was still HOT and wet and not the best time of year.Amenities (toilets and showers are basic but good).

Was an absolutely beautiful experience for our first over night stay at Lake Proserpine, from the scenic views to open landscapes for bigger families to enjoy camping together , was overall an amazing place

Seriously amazing camp grounds. Beautiful view, nice staff and only $8 per night. Super clean and modern amenities.
