By far the worst real estate agents I’ve ever dealt with.We rented a property for a little over 6 months and can say there wasn’t a month where something didn’t go wrong.Advertising that a security system is in the property and at the open home saying it comes with the house then on the day we took on the lease being told it doesn’t work and we won’t be granted access to it, then it going off at 11pm while my partner was home alone due to me being on operations with the army.Causing her to go into a state of panic and shock.Having to turn the mains power off to subdue the alarm, no answers from multiple calls to the emergency contacts.Lucky my partner new someone in Adelaide to go and stay the night. Over $200 of meat in the fridge/freezer lost.Zero empathy from the real estate agent and over 72hrs until it was rectified.That’s one of many issues with this company.Stay away!!

I cannot stress enough to anyone to NOT affiliate themselves, their property or tenancy business with Smarte Real Estate. I have had nothing but the worst experience with their Salisbury, SA branch. I rented a property through them and had nothing but a terrible experience which led to me having to break the lease contract and seek accommodation else where.From having their maintenance man turn up to my house unannounced and have him crying on my doorstep, to having the house security system blasting sirens spontaneously in the middle of the night after we were told we can’t access the home security system because no one knows how to use it (despite it being advertised in the rental ad) and having no choice but to switch the mains power off to the house, causing hundreds of $ worth of food to be thrown out because the emergency contacts for the real estate agents didn’t respond to any calls or messages to help rectify the issue. Once we were able to get in contact with the agents, they approached the situation in a ‘not my house or food, not my problem’ approach to which we had no compensation for the damages that occurred after the incident. The day of the end of lease inspection, we asked the real estate agent to report back to us after they’d looked through the property for any issues that need to be fixed/ rectified before handing the keys over, and the agent responded to us 4 days later, AFTER the new tenants have moved in, without giving us the chance to fix them- and their pathetic excuse for not responding to us was because “Thursday/ Friday have been really busy for me” and charged us a maintenance fee to fix a couple off small jobs which would have taken 15 mins max to fix… not to mention the agent knew my partner is a carpenter by trade and knew he would be able to fix any maintenance that needed attending had they reported back to us the day of the inspection like they said they would.It’s no wonder real estate agents have such a poor reputation!!!Absolute joke of a business and proceed with caution with these agents!!

In my experience, Smarte Real Estate has been a disappointing & frustrating company to deal with, to say the least. The person we are dealing with appears to be incapable of answering their phone, responding to emails or meeting deadlines. The communication is non-existent & professionalism is nil. This person has made the entire process of property negotiations stressful, frustrating & timely. I would never recommend Smarte Real Estate or their services to anyone, please proceed with caution.

Smarte Real Estate has been frustrating & time consuming to deal with. In my opinion, Smarte Real Estate appears to lack professionalism, efficiency & skill to provide outcomes involving property. Reconsider using Smarte Real Estate at all costs.

Kathy and her crew made selling our home so relaxing with great service all the way thru thanks guys well done would recommend without hesitation

I have rented with smarte Realeastate and couldn’t of been happier! All staff have been great, minor maintenance was sorted quickly and Communication has always been outstanding. I hope to continue renting with them in the future.- Kayley

I have rented through many real estate agents, and had the mis fortune to rent a property through Smarte.Not interested in following up with maintenance issues (this means they don’t care about the property. Owners renting your valued assets beware)!Promises broken. Doesn’t return important calls. Follows the law only when it benefits them. So many other issues to mention. You give real estate agents a bad name
