Choc Dee Thai Restaurant
The tastes and service are alright but they better to replace assorted vegetables" with "carrots". The chicken Laksai and Penang curry were full of carrots and then a bit of meat and 2-3 pieces of beans or capsicums. The huge amount of carrots made the meals very sweet. What I expected was Thai fresh vegetables in these dishes which were missing."

Choc Dee Thai Restaurant
First time dining here and we had delicious food. We love the atmosphere and great service. We had Chicken Lemon Grass and Prawns Fried Rice. Big plate enough for two. We would love to have dinner here again next time.

We were at Choc Dee Thai Restaurant in Palm Cove Saturday night 3 June. I have ordered Crying Tiger . It was the worst food I have ever experienced in my whole life. It was tasteless ,no flavor, meat was very hard and chewy and the sauce was sweet instead of chilly they must have used a lot of sugar. They charge $40 for this dish .Total waste of money. I left it uneaten . My partner had pad Thai with chicken which was edible she said. I love Thai food and have been to many Thai restaurants and I know what Thai food tastes like. This particular restaurant do not know how to cook crying tiger dish. I don’t know about other dishes might be okay . Not recommend this restaurant.

I wouldn't say the dish I ordered was spectacular, and the consensus around the table seemed to be the same. Rather disappointing for the price and the amount u got on the plate. They took a long time to ask us for drinks and then we had to flag them down so we could order, they weren't very busy so not sure what the hold up was.

Absolutely awful. Maybe when you eat in, they don't rip you off, but when you take away, they fill already tiny containers half full and charge $25. Food was average and tasteless. We waited for over an hour! Never ever again.

Choc Dee Thai Restaurant
I have walked past this restaurant so many times but never gone in. How I've wasted my life. This restaurant has it all. Ambience - amazing. Menu - it never ends, and it's fun to look through and read the interesting tid bits. And, of course, there's the food - which is totally amazing. Don't go to Palm Cove, and miss this jewel.

Quite average Thai food. Had a variety of dishes but lacked traditional Thai flavours. Very westernised. Best dish was the black sticky rice and ice cream dessert.

Years ago I had the best experience, food was very nice.This time, it was terrible. 5 of us had dinner there and the first two meals came out, then the 3rd meal came out 5 minutes later and the last 2 orders 5 minutes after that.I had the Crying Tiger for $39 and the plate consisted of a piece of steak sliced up with a couple of pieces of lettuce leaves, 2 slices of cucumber and 2 wedges of tomatoes with a couple of slithers of carrots. Meal was very bland. What a rip off. I am a local and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Choc Dee Thai Restaurant
Ordered a stir fry, a noodle dish and a curry, all at medium level. While the spice was there, the flavour was not. The curry was runny, the noodle had no char, and the stirfry all we could taste was the holy basil and nothing else. We waited nearly an hour for our meal and it was absolutely not worth it. Will not be going back.
