Kafe Koala
Such a convenient spot on the Great Ocean Road. Seems to stay open later than most cafes which was much welcomed when driving along the GOR in the late arvo. Coffee was good, so was the carrot cake and banana bread.

On your way to 12 apostles on the great ocean road, you will find this cosy small beautiful cafe around Kennett River. Their food is really good, one can grab wrap, burger, muffin, a coffee, a cheesecake or may be a cold drink or a energy drink. Based on your choice, they can give you hot wrap or cold one, that’s really nice choice to have isnt it ?While someone from your family or your friend waiting for food order. You can talk a quick walk towards the Kennett river and see this amazing scenic river going towards the ocean.Staff is really nice and sweet. They have a small sitting arrangements outside the cafe which is nice.Plenty of parking space and this one, I have saved for the last. You can get a ice cream too. Which flavours ? Great place to view wild koalas on trees. Coffee was great.

Good food to grab a bite on the god. My recommendations are chocolate brownie and passion fruit cake. If lucky, can find open space for picnic.. walking trail around, we spotted king parrots.. limited car park, toilets well maintained.

Had a pie here, pretty good. Also the cafe are pretty chilling and relaxing, people are here for the wild koala, we did saw some but here are way far up to the tree. Saw them but not very clear.

Good wee cafe for a quick stop.Toilets just outside in a separate building. Good for a quick bite and pitstop on the ocean road. Polite staff and good menu. Also a small gift shop there aswell.A fair drive to the next proper stop so good place to refresh.Also lots of parrots around the area and you can see koalas nearby.

I just hope you used the recipe I gave you for the Falafel (about 5-6 months ago) :)A great place to stop by! Koalas are also found on the trees in the Gray Road that forks from this place.It's a good place if you need to stop for a toilet, there are kangaroos & wallabies near by (including in the roads that go up near this place), so just watch it.
