Signing on for vocal lessons at Sono School of Music would honestly have to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my career as a musician! Since working with Katie, my voice is always feeling and sounding healthy and strong. I’m reaching notes I’ve never reached before and I’m making huge improvements every week thanks to her guidance.I love that Katie challenges me to do the very best I can, and is extremely supportive every step of the way. Her incredible passion for and dedication to her teaching, as well as her astounding vocal knowledge is so evident, and I’m always eagerly awaiting my next lesson.All of the teachers at Sono (including Katie) are very friendly and welcoming, and really make you feel proud to be apart of such a wonderful music community. I would highly recommend lessons at Sono School of Music to people of all ages and skill levels!

I've been learning piano at Sono for about a year and a half as an adult student.The school as a whole is an extremely welcoming space. Thanks to the all staff you instantly feel as though you have a place in their family.I cannot commend my teacher, Rachel, enough for her patient, professional and friendly approach to teaching.Lessons have always been catered based on both my own musical aspirations as well as sensible and considered guidance from Rachel. Sono have made learning music a delight.

My son and daughter have learned drum and sing in Sono for more than one year. They really love to come here, become more confident and improved a lot. Especially drum tutor Max is very helpful. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been attending lessons with Hayley at Sono Music for a few months, and I’ve had a couple of singing teachers before but I love lessons with Hayley because of how kind and supportive she is. Being an anxious adult singer, the most important thing about a singing lesson is the environment and how the teacher makes you feel during a session. It is very hard to get a good sound if you’re not relaxed, and I never have this problem with Hayley. Hayley makes singing fun and energising and my boyfriend loves it when I come home from singing because I’m always in such a good mood. I think he’d like me to take lessons every day! He also comments on the increasing strength and tone of my voice, which is partly due to increased confidence as well as improved technique.What I like about Sono Music as a whole is that while sitting in the waiting room, you often see other teachers coming in and out of their rooms and it’s very easy to see and feel that they love their work and are excited to be there, which gives the place a really warm and welcoming vibe. There’s also a mix of adult and child students, so if you’re an adult thinking about joining Sono, you won’t be out of place. Sono feels like a proper grown-up music school, not like a children’s school that also serves adults.I’d definitely recommend Sono to anyone who wanted to learn music and they also run weekend workshops on various topics, but I haven’t made my way to one of those yet. I really want to though!

I have been learning voice with Sono for over a year now and I could not be more happier with the work they do! My previous teachers (Katie & Jess) have been amazing and have taught me so many things. I have REALLY improved with my current teacher Madelyn as well. Lastly the end of year concerts have been a really good experience, certainly confidence wise. Sono has definitely been wonderful and I hope to continue learning there.

I've been taking lessons from Josh for about 2 months now and absolutely love it! I've had other teachers before who have not been as professional or made the lessons feel as worthy as it feels at Sono.I already feel like my ability has expanded and I've made progress that I feel has not been there before coming to Sono. I love how welcoming and friendly Sono School of Music is and how warm and friendly Josh is. I've already recommended Sono to two of my friends who cannot wait to give it a try.

I have been taking drum lessons with Jasper for almost two years now and my weekly lessons are always something to look forward to. Jasper is an encouraging and effective teacher who has helped to advance my drumming skills and techniques in a way that has been highly enjoyable for me. My hand/feet coordination have improved vastly and Jasper has taught me these skills while keeping in mind my own taste of music. I have also had a number of lessons with Liam, another enthusiastic drum teacher at this school. The studio and equipment are also great for any student to learn with. I would recommend Sono School of Music to any drummer looking to sharpen their skills.

My kid started his piano lessons with Sono School of Music and he thoroughly enjoys the experience. His teacher is very friendly and takes time in replying to all his queries. I would definitely recommend Sono School of Music to anyone who is interested in learning the piano. The school is located at the corner of the Station road and is easily accessible.

Sono Music has been an absolutely wonderful school of music for the last 3 years I've been attending voice lessons there. All the staff are so kind, friendly and personable which is why Sono has the most welcoming environment for learning music. My voice teacher Hayley has always been so lovely and adaptable to my ideas and goals - I'm so grateful that I chose Sono.

I've been having lessons with Declan at Sono for two months now, and my singing progress is off the charts! Not only is Declan a very talented musician, but he's also extremely understanding and encouraging for my musical journey! He makes me feel more comfortable to relax and to not be too hard on myself, even if it takes a few lessons to perfect a certain technique. Sono itself is also very affordable and makes it easy if you need to reschedule a lesson. Highly recommend!
