Wildes Antiques

Being a foreign national and english not being my first language, I feel quite nervous going into shops and having interactions with the store owner.I probably met one of the warmest personalities in Tasmania, if not the whole of Australia, in the store. Thank you so much for welcoming us in the store, helping us with our purchase and also giving us a small gift (the peacock feather) ❤️ Thank you so much and god bless you always dear. You have touched our hearts and we shall always remember you and your store when we see the feather and pass by the wonderful town of Campbelltown :)

Great selection of high quality items. Several different regional antiques in different sections (ie a Japanese area). Prices were a bit high I thought but were probably negotiable. We just browsed. Everything was very clean and polished. Plus there's a cafe attached with fabulous cakes and hot chocolate.

Bob was really friendly and patient with me as I explored the shop, and asked many questions especially about a typewriter. They've a good range of products at reasonable prices and it's definitely worth a stop in Campbell town

There was a wonderful array of treasures here, however the chap in attendance gave us the impression it was all a bit too hard. Sad.

We enjoy walking through this place and every time we go through or stay in Campbell town we always stop here

A trip to Tassie is not complete without visiting Wildes Antiques. Every year, sometimes several times a year l visit here. Each time lve visited l always find some piece that l fall in love with. Beautifully situated in a magnificent, historic 2 storey sandstone building on the main road it is easy to find and easy to park near. Some businesses over time can lose their sparkle however Wildes Antiques goes from strength to strength with ever more quality, authentic pieces in store each time l visit. Their facebook page is always updated with the newest arrivals :) Many pieces are the perfect size for bringing home in your luggage or Tim can easily organise shipping/delivery for larger pieces. From farmhouse tables to church pews, cast iron pieces, crystalware and collectables, art deco pieces, artworks and fine jewellery there is something for all tastes. But best of all prices are reasonable and the owner is a delight! See you on my next trip over..

Rude and ArrogantWe would call in here every time we came to Tasmania, and was run by a lovely lady. Went there yesterday and while browsing heard lovely music and asked the man behind the counter if it was his music and what it was called. He nodded to the first question, muttered the name Monster and resumed reading his book. I obviously disturbed him and that was exactly the look on his face. Will not be calling in anymore

A gorgeous homely Antique experience, relaxed and welcoming. Fair pricing, amazing staff, good parking options out front and on the side street.

Tim and Bob run fabulous unpretentious shops in Campbell Town and Evandale and their manner and customer service is excellent, very reliable and friendly. We are delighted with our little purchases which arrived before Xmas despite covid and we highly recommend this business. Definitely fans!
