Thank you for perfectly altering the formal dress.

Alison was super lovely and did an amazing job shortening my wedding dress (which had a ton of lace). I was super happy and it wasnt an easy task but they did beautifully (and also quite quickly even though they were very busy with wedding season and Melbourne cup etc.). I asked for it to be higher near the shoes so the lace would not get stuck in the inset decoration of the shoes when walking (so not just a straight shortening job in the front) and it turned out so nice. I also love that Alison gave me the opportunity to fit into my dress (altering it just before the wedding) when another alterations place I went to for a quote rudely told me i would never ft into my dress and would definitely need it taken out in addition to being shortened. Will 100% return for future alterations. Thanks so much!

My granddaughter is a competitive swimmer and her swim suits cost $500 and more. Getting into these suits is very difficult and it’s easy to put a hole in the suit if your fingers go through the fabric. Alison has done some excellent repairs for us and we are VERY grateful. On top of that Alison only charges a very moderate fee for repairs. She is compassionate, kind and really helpful.
