I signed my son up here at the start of the year when we moved to the area, he loves it, it has been great for his confidence and the classes are the highlight of his week. The smile on his face when he is in action there is one of the highlights of my week too. The staff are professional and clearly care about what they do and the facilities are great. My wife has just signed up too.I couldn't recommend the place highly enough.I have noticed that there are a couple of negative reviews, which surprised me, and they were focussing on the cancellation fee. They made it clear to me when I signed up that it was an annual agreement with a cancellation fee, which seems to be an industry standard. It seems very unfair that people would skew the reviews of a small business like this because they are unhappy with an agreement after the fact.

I signed up my 3 year old based on a really great one-on-one trial lesson. BIG MISTAKE! All following lessons were with a group and the trainer could no longer keep my sons attention or interest, to the point where my son would cry about having to go and would refuse to put the unfirm on, which to be honest, I don't blame him as its a really cheap stiff polyester that I myself would hate to have to wear. Nonetheless, I decided to put his membership on hold as I thought, he's only three, maybe he'll change his mind in a few months time and want to come back. After his membership was on hold for 6 months, they began charging me again. I had not realised until they had charged me for a months worth of lessons. Not once in that month did they have the decency to contact me to remind me that his account was again active and that they hadn't seen him in class. I hate to think how long this could have gone on had I not noticed. I went in to discuss my concern that they were taking money from me without so much as a courtesy call, email or sms to let me know I was paying them for no reason and they bluntly told me that its my fault and there was nothing they could do. I disagreed. They could have chosen to do right thing and at least removed this amount from my final bill, however they instead chose to enforce their strict contract which stipulates that you must pay an exorbitant amount for their cheap and nasty uniform, repay the free lessons that they originally give you and pay for an extra months worth of lessons in addition to the month that they had robbed me. All in all its cost me $487.80 just to cancel his membership. If you still choose to join, make sure your child is old enough to be certain that they will enjoy it for at least a year (I think the $2 uniform and the free lessons might be actually be free at that point but check the t&C's!) , that your personal circumstances are not going to change (like, you get sick or have to move house of any of those pesky things that pop up in life) and that you don't rely on them to communicate with you in a respectable, understanding or empathetic manner....

I took my son to join Taekwondo World 5 years ago hoping that he can pick up a sport (after trying a couple of other sports unsuccessfully). But I soon realised that it is more than a sports for him. He becomes a more confident child and have good self-discipline as a result of the training. My six year old daughter has joined the club for over a year now. She loves the activities the Masters has planned out for her (and her age group). It is really fun and joyful. My children always finish their classes with a great big beam on their face even though it seems to be such hard work from the parents point of view.Over the years, they also bond well with the Masters and feel very close and cozy with them.I must praise the superb techniques of the Masters. They are meticulous with the technique and every single move was taught to absolute perfection. It is very lucky for us to have a branch of Taekwondo World in Hurstville. I would not send my kids to any other place if they are seriously learning this National Martial Art of Korea.

Excellent facilities, with well trained teaching staff.I have no reservations regarding the value of the classes provided, and the fees are very reasonable. Much cheaper than other schools I looked at, and better quality of instruction too!The agreement was simple and straightforward. At one point I thought i would need to cancel my membership and the staff were very helpful. The process was so easy!Luckily I was able to continue, and I hope to be able to stick around for a long time!

Absolutely love training here. Large, clean dojang with fully padded flooring in the training areas. Many Masters from Korea with university level Taekwondo and phys ed training means a lot of attention gets given per student. The classes are great fun high intensity intervals workouts which is great for bigger guys like myself. Over the years I've lost a fair bit of weight training here.Come for the kicks, stay for the upbeat and fun atmosphere.Been to other TKD schools, but this is far and away the best facility and has the best teaching I've experienced to date.

After visiting three other martial arts studio's in the Hills District for my 4.5 year old son, we walked into Taekwondo World and my son loved it. The masters are wonderful with the children and after being persuaded to join in the adult class I was impressed by their immense patience with all of their students.I would recommend Taekwondo world to any family and encourage families to take the opportunity to join together.

This is the BEST Taekwondo place I have ever been to. The masters are kind, supportive, funny, and reliable. Taekwondo World is a great place for the whole family with the age limit being 3 even the little one can come. My whole family does Taekwondo and I have acheived black belt. It really brings the whole family together. I say give it a go and go to Taekwondo World!
