The Cotton Merchants

So good to see an independent craft store! Absolutely lovely little shop with a nicely curated range of fabrics, quilting supplies and sewing accessories. (No wool yarn yet, but they do sell other crochet and knitting supplies.)A great place to find fabrics and accessories from smaller brands, including some beautiful floral prints and a display of cushions and lampshades that I immediately wanted to replicate. The bowl of buttons, sold by the teacupful, was an especially cute detail.Staff were more than helpful, full of information about their products and offering to order in things that weren’t in stock. Also had information about local craft workshops. Will definitely visit whenever I’m in Tumut!
