El Lago Waters Resort

Disrespectful overseas owner who dictate his cultural ways and bad manners towards customers. I would never recommend anyone to to come here because of his/hers money gain. They shouldn't be allowed to run a business with their approach in this beautiful country.

S Whittaker and friendsWe had 3 adults to stay here and it was absolutely appalling I do not know how they are getting away with it in such a great Holiday place as the Entrance - No care taker Shower was disguising could not get it adjusted for a normal shower had a cold wash vanity was falling apart turn the tap on and water splashed everywhere. Sign on wall in bathroom please leave door closed so not to set of the Fire Alarm - hence no Exhaust in the bathroom - No plug provided for the bath and it was a family room for $189.00 plus surcharge - The hair drying was all broken and falling apart. Would no recommend this place they need Health Department or the Accommodation Police to go check this facility it is rubbish.

Location is the only thing that's good about El Lago Waters Motel, and that’s pretty much it. The website says it’s newly renovated – well, it’s not. The place is filthy, it looks like it has had no maintenance for decades. Furniture is old and worn out, the walls have stains on them. The bathrooms are particularly disgusting. The pictures on website are deceiving ..No sane person would swim in the dirty pool, full of constantly screaming children. The parents were no better, yelling, banging the doors, running around till the late hours. We have even witnessed a fight (management does not seem to care about any of this).The pool area is messy, with litter and food on the ground. The car park has overgrown grass and weeds everywhere, it’s full of rubbish too, you can see piles of dirty laundry in the containers. When we arrived, our room was not even properly cleaned yet. We paid almost $300 for a room for one night, it’s a a rip off, definitely not worth it, I wouldn't put my dog in this place. Never again!

No maintanence of the building. Poor funiture. No tissue paper & can't find anyone to ask @ night. Shower tub lots of sands & haven't been cleaned up. Cockroachs walked onto my bed & wake up whole night. Only Location is good.

Arrived here yesterday in add send microwave in room .and no microwave was made to carry it my self up two floors of stairs. And tv didn't work. And secondly over change. Was given one of 140 then ended up paying 211 dollars the only good thing is me and wife were across the road of beach and shopping centre but never stay Here's again

This is far from a “Waters Resort”. Whilst I appreciate this is no 5 star accommodation and the choice was mine stay here, I’d not imagined stepping into such a horrid and derelict property. Checking in, the gentleman barely spoke 2 words… took the payment and handed over the keys. Driving to the rear of the building for the car park lot you’ll be greeted with an abandoned tennis court with piles of rubbish spread across it. Walking into the building you immediately sense an interesting stench…. Surprise more rubbish in piles. Upon entering the room (door lock wasn’t even working properly), you’re immediately smacked in the face with a ghastly stench. Cleanliness and hygiene of the room, questionable. Now, I’ve stayed in motels before but nothing as appalling as this. How is this even allowed to operate? Thankfully, my stay was only 1 night…. Whilst my arrival was not a warming experience, I thought the checkout process would’ve left a positive touch. Gosh, quite the opposite. Lady sat behind the counter (behind the bars)… didn’t even acknowledge I was in front of her…. Not a word said… she didn’t even flinch…. I noticed an after hours keys drop off box…. Couldn’t be happier returning keys! Would not recommend this place.
