Ordered food through door dash, the food that arrived was cold, dried up and discusting. We rang to complain and they blamed the driver, but the food had clearly been over cooked and sitting in a warmer for to long, then we're rudely hung up on. If you want Indian food in Bathurst choose another restaurant.

Can't rate this great Indian restaurant highly enough! High quality food very reasonably priced.FOOD: Amazing selection of Indian curries, meat and vegetarian dishes along with desserts, served fresh, of high quality and hot. They're happy to cater to your needs, mild, spicy etc.I have eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants and have never seen such an extensive Gluten free listing on a menu. 10/10!!!LOCATION: Right in the middle of town, with ample parking on the street.STAFF: Super friendly, efficient, highly skilled and happy to help out.ACCESSIBILITY: Suitable for those with walkers, wheelchairs etc. They have a lot of space and so large groups/families of 20+ people could easily fit. Ideal for company get togethers, weddings, large family outings etc.AMBIENCE: Despite it's huge size, this place is warm, inviting, friendly and very clean.OVERALL: Highly recommend. Would go far more often if it was closer.

Have eaten here many times and rate this Indian restaurant very highly.The staff are fantastic which also makes a big difference. I throughly recommend the food.

Last night we ordered from the Jewel of Bathurst as a by chance decision. What a wonderful surprise! Not only were the dishes amazingly good, but they were definitely not the usual lots of sauce little amounts of meat. The Lamb Rogan Josh was melt in your mouth tender. The Chicken Tikka Masala (mild) the distinctflavour of the chilli, not the heat, that came through and the sweetness of the onion cooked in a red sauce with the perfect tingle, was a dish I had the pleasure having at a dinner with friends 20 years ago in Glebe Syd. The Butter Chicken, Cucumber Riata, Mint Sauce and Naans all perfect. I honestly thought having moved to Bathurst that delicious cuisine was something I could forget about. Thank you so much to the Chef and staff. Amazing cuisine, service, politeness. Great experience.

I've visited this place twice with my family now. We're happy with the ambience and friendly receptionist/customer service. They offer Pakistani and Indian cuisine with a variety of dishes. They're open till late (10.30pm), so that helps if you want a late dinner.

Popped in on a whim during the late afternoon when coffee shops are usually closed and had the most pleasant experience. I ordered the Paneer Pakora, which was one of the best Pakoras I've ever tried. The sauces were amazing and I later found out that all masalas and sauces are made from scratch. The manager/chef was extremely friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou Jewel of Bathurst, one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to ever. I will definitely be back

Had lunch and dinner couple of times. Never disappointed. But the portion size of biriyani seemed much better with Menulog Order..lol.. Anyway, food was always great.! Brother gave us complementary hot Gulab Jamun once. Tasteed so good with Ice cream. Thanks Jewel Of Bathurst for bringing another Halal option in the town. ❤️❤️❤️

I know our photo isn't appetising but that's us demolishing garlic tawa prawns, pepper chicken, chicken korma, kashmiri pilaf, roti, and cheese garlic naan. Everything was so very tasty and the spicy levels appropriate for our choices (medium; hot).Yummy Aussie wine list and well-paired as suggested by helpful menu.First staff forgot to ask if we wanted entrees out same time as mains but the attentiveness of the senior male staff meant we didn't have to wait long. Portions made us very satisfied and full without being too big. Prawns huge and tasty, chicken tender and solid amount of meat for both entree and main sizes. No skimping here!It was late and therefore super quiet when we came in. The cold aircon was adjusted soon after we sat down and the staff were attentive without being overbearing.Absolutely going to return when next in Bathurst. We must try that panipuri!
