Small shop with various Asian buns (savoury and sweet) and crepe cakes. Theres also bubble tea choices. Some of them are yoghurt drinks - which is a little bit sour. Nothing is too sweet here, it suits the Asian pallet. The milo ovatine cake was really good and light. The cakes are so fluffy it doesn't make you very full. The mochi is soft and creamy. Flavours could be stronger. The matcha puff bun was amazing. So crispy when heated up and full of matcha cream inside. Staff is very friendly.

The cakes are amazing! Strongly recommend the taro cake and cream cheese cake. If you love cream cheese and/or cream, this is the best place you can get. The quality is so good and unique , I’m coming back for more

INCREDIBLE! Best unassuming bakery I’ve ever been to. We had the matcha lava cake, pineapple polo bun with fresh cream, a cream cheese bun, and the taro cake. Every one of them was 10/10. Staff is super friendly and everything is made in house. Highly recommend checking out SugarRush!

The best cake EVER! I ordered this Rose & Lychee Crepe Cake for my daughter’s birthday. Everyone raved about it and I’m counting down the days to our next family birthday! Customer service was excellent too!

Very quirky Asian sweet bread and cake shop. The coconut scroll looks very interesting ( see picture) but taste really nice, super soft, sweet and fragrant. Coming back to try the rest of the products especially the soft fluffy cheese cake sponge. The custard tart is a blend of Portuguese style custard and a shortbread base. It was delicious. Service has very polite and product purchases was individually wrapped.

We were in the last-minute rush for a bday cake for a surprise party we just planned. Thanks to the staff there, who were patient and willing to help, we had the loveliest cake we could ask for at that moment. The original cake looked very simple. It was not really for a birthday party, but the young lady there helped us put some toppings and a LED topper on, making the cake look so cute it went far beyond our expectation. Of course it tasted super nice. (And thus our surprise bday party was a success.) Will come back if I ever have a chance to be in Hobart again.
