D & D McLeod Mechanical Repairs

Was working down the road and my car needed a service. I went to D and D McLeod and was so impressed with the service and price that I now won't go anywhere else for servicing and repairs.

Honest and good mechanic and reasonable price, I took my car too him twice and I will take it tomorrow too

Will never take my car here again. Charged $280 for a service for a VE commodore. $118 for oil alone! Rang the oil supplier who quoted me $120 for 20 litres - retail. Additionally oil is not premium which caused problems with oil sensor - requiring replacement with premium brand..

Bought a car from Grays Online down the road and the car had a broken injector and water pump problem which meant I had to find the nearest mechanic in the area - very glad I found D & D McLeod. Allan is very honest and his work is the very best - showed me the broken parts and replaced them professionally. He even worked back till 7.30pm on a Friday night so I could get the car home for the weekend. Don't live in the area but if I did I would definitely be taking my cars here to get serviced. Thank you!

Don’t waste your time and money at D & D McLeod. Knows very little about coolant systems and operates on the basis of guess work.Got my car serviced for an issue involving a leak in the coolant system causing my car to overheat. After 2 months and 4 visits to D & D McLeod I was told it was the radiator, then air in the coolant system and then a hole in the water pump.However, after 4 visits and spending over $1200 the issue still wasn’t fixed so I returned one last time to ask why this was still happening. I was told the O-rings needed replacing and that was the only issue. However, I took it to another mechanic on the same day to get a second opinion who clearly identified 3 different areas where coolant was leaking and had evidently been leaking for a long time.Not only was this not identified by D & D McLeod in 4 visits but I was also told that the radiator and water pump more than likely wouldn’t have had anything wrong with them.This place has no idea what they are doing and have a disgusting and dirty reception area with used Uber eats orders and food scraps scattered all over the place.

I must admit that Alan at DnD Mechanics is always a pleasure to go see. I had two other workshops ruin my two babies and Alan fixed them and got them back to being loud and sexy. Alan is extremely knowledgeable and has fixed alot of my car's previously and fixed what some other mechanics claimed was something 10x more serious just for the $$$. He is very well mannered and the workshop is always extremely clean and tidy. I would highly recommend DnD mechanics. Always takes care of me and leaves me with a smile on my face. Thanks again Alan. Everything is highly appreciated :)

Really good service. Honest and very good value. They didn't do any unnecessary items just to increase the bill. Will definitely be taking my car here again.
