What The Pho ANU

The restaurant has a nice location which is in street food in ANU. The service was fast even though I ordered for takeaway. I called the BBQ chicken summer rolls and that was pretty fresh with nice choices of veggies. I also ordered the chicken sticky rice, and it somehow reminds me of my high school years when I used to eat Vietnamese street foods a lot. The texture is chewy and even more oily with fried eggs. However, the chicken is a little bit dry and needs to be more flavoured. The last one is grilled pork vermicelli and that was fantastic with generous portions of vegetables. I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of their menu!

Returning customer for their banh mi. The lemongrass pork banh mi is very fragrant whereas the cheesy beef banh mi is good for days with low energy. Pretty balanced meal that's not too heavy either. Be warned, if you add fresh chilli into your sandwich, get ready for the heatTried their rare beef pho recently, too. Although the meat was tender and flavourful, the soup lacked some depth and seasoning. But for the price of $14, you get what you paid for.

Pork banh mi is my favourite yum

My son was given a bahn mi which contained raw chicken. He ate some before he realised. He has a photos of it. The restaurant hasn't yet returned my call but I have tried contacting them urgently to make sure they rectify this before someone gets seriously unwell.

I ordered a vermicelli salad with tofu and got given one with meat. Instead of making it from scratch they just tried to remove the meat and add tofu without me noticing, without care of the contamination. When i complained they said they’d make it again but used the meat tongs to add the tofu. Disgusting food safety.

I had some good Broken Rice with BBQ pork from here. It was tasty but quite a long wait to get my meal compared to other options. Had to wait out in the chilly wind while several customers came and went. Might try find quicker options next time.

Love the Vietnamese noodle salad. Tasty fresh good size and quick. Grilled pork is delish. I don't tend to order anything else here since it's so yummy.

Loved the chicken sticky rice they have here, really tender chicken and the fried egg is a welcome addition. One critique is that the rice is a bit overdone, but I'll definitely come again!
