Amaze Richmond

Our kids (5 & 7) loved this experience, had so much fun finding all the animals and shapes. Worked off a lot of their energy and the lunch we had was delicious.

I went to Amaze when it first opened for brunch and the menu was extensive and the eggs bene were a huge hit for me. I went there again on the weekend, and the menu has changed and not for the better. It has been changed to a basic menu with no Eggs bene (a brunch staple if you ask me). I felt like the wait staff were being rushed and made feel uncomfortable with maybe the Cafe Manager or Chef. Not sure but the vibe was not great and I felt sorry for the wait staff, who were wonderful. Such a shame that it's gone this way after the promising start it had. I won't be back for brunch or lunch anytime soon.

This seems like a great place to spend a few hours with your kids - we didn’t have time for the maze, but we did stop for coffee and cake. The older kids enjoyed playing with the lawn games provided which was a nice opportunity to relax and have some fun. Next time we will do the maze. The staff were friendly, facility clean and bathrooms immaculate. Worth a stop here.

A bit disappointed. Maze was a bit boring and not hugely challenging. We split into 2 groups with our junior primary aged children and both were finished in a little over 1 hour. Quite an expensive experience. Not to mention credit card fees that we weren't advised about when making the purchase, would have paid cash. Didn't eat here, looked expensive and there was an amazing looking pub 2 minutes walk away. Not sure why parents were more expensive than kids as it was supposed to be kids entertainment?

I went with my partner (both of us in our 30s) and we had a great time. It's not the kind of maze you can get lost in, but it was fun looking for the animals and cracking the code. Not particularly challenging but very fun and we had a great time.

The place has a nice ambience, meals took nearly an hour to be served. Had to ask twice for missing parts of our order. Meals were ok, but nothing special, but then again, they weren’t expensive either.

We had a fantastic night at the Haunted Maze event, an absolute ball, everyone involved in putting together the event needs to be congratulated, you all did a great job at scaring us, from the front desk staff who created the atmosphere, to the person's along the maze you were all terrific. The staff I spoke to before the event to reschedule due to cancelling of days, and then a phone call today to offer a reschedule due to weather if WE wanted, were all friendly and polite. I think the weather actually added to the evening.

This place serves wonderful food. We love the FRENCH TOAST and it’s a must try! The nougatine and caramelised bananas was perfect and served hot to us.We even asked to buy more to take home and Lauri the chef came out to greet us.Fabulous food and great service!Now going to try out the mazes!
