Lucy's Divine Cakes

I just picked up the hamburger cake it looked fantastic. I was delighted. However it was so fresh that the weight of it saw it bottom cake collapse and it tipped over . I tried to prop it up but icing was still soft and came off in my hands. I have somewhat reconstructed it but it doesn't look the same. It probably needs a day to set and have a stronger bottom. I will see how I go tomorrow for the birthday.

I had the cake and cupcakes done on Thursday and they were disgusting.The cupcakes looked as if they were a homemade failure. They did not rise and the icing was so thick that no one even ate a whole. The cupcakes were $7 each.The cake was not even close as the picture that was shown to them. The cake was small and $220.Ripoff.I then called the next day on Friday and was told that the manager was going to call me.3 days later and still no call so I called and spoke to someone who apparently made the cupcakes and I felt like I was talking to a brick wall.Bad customer service, Product failure & Overpriced.

If it were possible to give 0 stars I would because no one should have to go through what my friend went through. One of my friends recently ordered $275 worth of cakes and biscuits 2 months out from her gender reveal party. 2 weeks later my friend was told her baby had no heart beat and she was having a missed miscarriage. When she rang the company to advise them of her situation she was told 3 times she would get a call back. Eventually she got a hold of the manager and she was told the owner had advised they didn’t do refunds even though they had not started baking any of the cakes or biscuits, they were still happy to make a profit off of her loss. We will be telling all of our friends and family of the treatment we have received from this business as I think it’s absolutely disgusting anyone could behave in this manner during such a horrible time in a mother’s life.

Cake didn't look good. Wasn't what I was expecting. Had to go and buy artificial flower to put on top to make it look good and spray it for a shimmery effect. Not worth it. I could have done that cake myself if not that I was busy. My first time ordering cake from here and I'm never going to repeat it.

The place is awful. My cousin ordered a three-layer cake for my daughter's first birthday. 'The professionally made cake' was far from our expectations - it looked like amateur work with no experience at all (by the way the attached photos look much better than the cake in reality). The top layer was not even - there was a very noticeable convex on one side. We closed our eyes on it to avoid extra negativity as my cousin was really upset with the finished product. Purposely she ordered a three layer cake so it will be enough for all guests. Everyone was shocked by discovering that the bottom layer was actually filled with foam - it was embarrassing for us as not every guest had a chance to try the birthday cake. They charged $400 for the cake and most of it was not even edible. We never write negative reviews as we always put ourselves into other people shoes but this situation is totally insane - such an enormous price for absolutely poor quality work without a good explanation that they sell the fake food which is intended only for demonstration and not consumption. Good luck to this business - what goes around comes around.

I will NEVER ever be back there and will make sure no one else will. May have got $275 out of me that day but they have lost thousands!

Order my daughter's 16th Chocolate mud birthday cake and the bottom of the cake was burnt. Icing and flavor inside the cake were beautiful. Looked silly with my guests as I was raving on how amazing this cake was only to very embarrassed when it was served.

Custom made cakes. Can order elements of a cakes such as custom figures or coloured icing so you can incorporate it into your own creation. The other part of the store is opposite the Donut shop, and is a great little Mauritian Cafe which has a great selection of coffee, cakes and hot food at affordable prices. The atmosphere is also very down to earth and good.

Way overpriced for mediocre cakes.I got charged once for a bday cake $180 for a two tier cake for 30 people.Then the second time I wanted to order a similar cake for the same size I was quoted $380.That’s just ridiculous how the prices jump so high in the same year.I will definitely not be returning to them, it’s very disappointing.
