We just got back from a 1 night stay at Ocean Beach Bribie Camping - camp site “S” (57 & 58). We should have stayed for at least 3 nights. The these sites were too far away from the toilets, beach walk was 15 minutes each way and there was no other walking path. The sites were too far back from the beach so there was no breeze. The sites had copious amounts of mosquitoes- they were all over us, at every hour of the day & night! The strongest deet spray we had was not enough! The other sites there might be ok, and maybe a different time of year….but I would suggest to avoid these sites in January! There were also cane toads out at night, so watch out!!On a positive note: plenty of kangaroos and native birds!

Always a great place to camp! Sometimes find previous campers leave rubbish & cans in the fire pits, but we always take the rubbish away so it’s better for the next campers!

Nice setting, camp sites were all different sizes with a fire pit. The toilet and showers were a 750m walk from our campsite M27, not ideal. But it was one the closest to the beach -lovely water and can watch the ships meander through the Moreton Bay. The insects were unpleasant - large biting flies that came in swarms and mozzies all day & night, I must have just had bad timing with the bugs. Guanas are overly tame and arrogant, keep your bin bag elevated!!! I had to learn the hard way

Ocean paradise. Camping is recommended, just make sure you pack bug spray for the march Flies. We saw rurkeys and large monitor lizards. The water is beautiful, and nothing beats falling asleep with the sound of the waves crashing

Great spot for camping. You must book in advance but it's worth it. Fishing isn't as good as it used to be but it has its moments.

The best camping place near Brisbane. Amazing views! Toilets and showers very clean and well maintained. Can be very busy especially during public holidays but still you are able to find a spot on the beach to relax.
