The Boat Shed Scarborough
It’s been so incredibly difficult finding good fish and chips until someone recommended The Boat Shed in Scarborough. And it was everything I have been dreaming about (And More!). We ordered the Boat Shed Box for 3 that was packed with cod fillets, calamari, prawn cutlets, sea scallops and chips. Everything was perfect. The chips had that perfect crunch on the exterior and a wonderful soft centre. The cod fillets had the right amount of crispy batter that was just thick enough to get the satisfactory crunch and not pouring with oil. The fillets were so tender and juicy and not like frozen icicles. The prawn cutlets were huge and gourmet in both taste and texture. Likewise, the scallops were massive and tasted absolutely heavenly. The entire meal was much better than many high end restaurant fare and I was not disappointed. Given the exceptional taste and quality of the meal, I think the $55 price for the whole pack is so incredibly well priced. I wish I could give them a million stars but I hope my appreciation will cover some of that distance. Just WOW! But don’t take my word for it, please find out for yourself.

Wandering through the area and thought some fish and chips by the beach would be good. Nice food in fact be up there as amongst the best takeaways I've had. The sweet potato was a nice touch. The food was cooked spot on and overall I was impressed. Not greasy as I have typically found other places to be and I suspect the oil is regularly changed so no off flavours.

This place has maintained a very high quality and super enjoyable feed for over 15 years. The online ordering function was great today. It enabled me to skip the queue when they were really busy. Yum.

Must be under new management because the quality and presentation have dropped my cod, was dry, and had an off smell, which is why I used to come here for fresh fishEnded up buying something from next door

we always get the scarborough pack, 4 cod, 4 calamari rings and chips. its the perfect amount for our family of 2 adults, 2 girls (4yo, 8yo). we are always left full and with nothing left for a very good price.

The chips weren't bad, but I did not like the burger. Had a chicken burger. Chicken tasted fake, and the bread was overpowering. Although, the customer service was great and the workers were happy. Not bad overall, filled my hunger
