Iv been coming to this shop for 18 years i love the food. Its always hot, fresh, tastes really good and you can feed the family without taking out a loan lol. Its prob the best in geelong

4 stars for taste but starting to get a bit pricey. Everything across the menu has gone up $1 to $2 and yes I know inflation/cost of living has gone up but he certainly hasn't missed with his price increases. Large special fried rice went from $11 to $13 and they have gotten a bit stingy on the amount of chicken, pork and prawns they are putting in. The sweet and sour/lemon chicken is all tasteless batter but his charcoal roast meats are pretty good.Overall a touch overrated if I'm being totally honest.

Norlane Hot Charcoal Chicken
I discovered this place several years ago and while I've also tried other chicken shops, this is the one I always come back to time and time again. Their chicken is juicy, tender, and full of flavour. The chips are good and the serves are huge. The prices are exceptionally reasonable. My order is always a Quarter Chicken & Chips but I've been meaning to try their Fried Rice because I hear it's really good. Service has always been fast and friendly.UPDATE: I've now tried their Special Fried Rice and yeah, it's pretty special... it has pork AND chicken in it!!!
