Fieldhouse Catering

I don't want this review to come across as bitter but just want to give our honest feedback. In the beginning we had good communication from George as we planned our wedding. Noone can dispute though, that the team on the day arrived late and we were having to ask for our canapés to be served over an hour after the timeline we gave them. This threw out the rest of our day which was out of our control, whether it be that which tanted our view on the food or that the cauliflour cheese was just swimming in a milk like substance... we really weren't impressed with the food given the price we paid and the service really didn't stand out professionally. We also weren't even served any of our cake which had 2 layers, or saved any, so we didn't even get to taste our wedding cake. Yes there were serves layed out on a table to go dry but we weren't even told they were sitting there. We can say some things may go wrong at a wedding and we are understanding people however did want to air our feelings constructively with George. To our absolute shock, the response we got, was deflection of any responsibility, blaming the venue and facilities even though they are a mobile catering service... who also happened to take pans home from the facility anyway. They cooked the food and were responsible for serving it, yet denied any shortcomings were their fault and the inconvenience was out of their control. We can say everyone else on the day was amazing but this company was a decent cost to us and provided an unprofessional service and were surprisingly really rude thereafter

Fantastic group of caterers. I hired them for my wedding and they were phenomenal. All the food was so amazingly presented and delicious to boot. I'm so glad we chose them.They know how to run a service. communication was easy, efficient and professional. and they left the venue absolutely bloody spotless. I really had no complaints.

Fieldhouse catered for our wedding reception and the food was excellent. Their menu's were very diverse and there was something to please everybody. Nothing but great things to say. George and his team were a pleasure to deal with, we would book again.

I highly recommend this catering company!They definitely went above and beyond to work with us to make our meals perfect, even with all our dietary requirements from gf to egg free salads ect. The potion size was bigger than we expected and the food was delicious! All our guests loved it and with 150 people that’s awesome.We highly recommend them to anyone thinking of doing something special. Even when the weather was pouring and freezing cold they still produced a great much appreciated hot meal. And they waiting staff looked so professional and they were so professional.Thank you so very much and we will definitely use you again for the next function we have.

My husband and I, had an extremely disappointing experience, especially in that we did not get any food or had any left for us. I did not receive any food on the night of our wedding night and could not find any food left for the wedding party as requested and previously agreed upon in the outdoor kitchen space or in our rented coolroom.The dietary requirements of my guest were not accommodated for being allergic to gluten and dairy, as communicated over the phone and email. My mother spoke to one of the waitresses and she scrambled to find food that was appropriate and this was one satay stick on rice and a a half gluten free pizza.In communication with Fieldhouse through email after the wedding we sought clarification as to what happened to the extra food, as we ordered 140 mains (70 roaming mains & 70 pizza's) as there was no leftover food left in the coolroom and a few arancini balls on a tray in the outdoor kitchen that were inedible and needed to be thrown away. I was asked by the majority of guests where the food was as they were hungry. We had deliberately ordered two mains so this would not be an issue as we discussed on the phone. We purchased extra food as we only had 58 guests and paid for an additional 4 people in our vendor teams. My understanding of the pizza was that guests would be able to go get their own pizza from the pizza menu. We further asked for clarification if all the food cooked was consumed or the placement of the leftovers, because as I stated there was no leftover food left in the coolroom and a few arancini balls on a tray in the outdoor kitchen that were inedible and needed to be thrown away. When members of my bridal party approached the team at the cooking area, they were seen to be throwing the leftover food in a large black trash bag. My maid of honour questioned them as to why they weren't using the cool room for leftovers, and she was not provided a direct response. My bridal party had feedback from other guests including that the wait staff did not evenly spread the food around! She personally approached the staff twice for food because they kept missing her partner.It was quite embarrassing having the bar staff we booked for 5pm till 11pm, turn up late out of uniform at 5:20pm running down the driveway while people were scrambling for a drink as they had been informed the bar was open at 5pm. The positive note was when my father prompted the staff to clean up after the guests, this was attended too.Overall fieldhouse catering was the biggest disappointment of my entire wedding and I have only negative reviews to share. It has been extremely disappointing over the numerous phone calls we have had to clarify details and emails that many of the key aspects were not accomplished and the majority of my guests left hungry.

Was a rather quick and efficient service, the food was lovely and the caterers are wonderful to converse with, the waitress was rather kind and genuine. I would recommend highly. Thanks for your service

We hired George Fieldhouse catering for our wedding on 30th Jan 2021. Whilst organising the catering and the food we wanted to provide, George was nothing but a delight! He was very responsive and answered my million questions, he was always very polite and so nice to work with, his customer service is beyond amazing. The waiter and waitress were very polite, kind and friendly. The chef did an amazing job with the food and wow delicious, it looked like we had bought a restaurant, it was very fresh, served beautifully and enjoyed greatly! The amount provided was perfect for what we needed. They were very punctual on arriving and serving. A brilliant place to hire, we can’t recommend them enough! Thank you guys!!
