Great staff good food

Not much range in terms of beer unless you want strictly mainstream commercial options.

Had lunch today with friends and was totally disappointed with the extremely poor quality of the beef and Guinness pie.It came with a dollop of watery mash and a meagre scattering of peas.The pie had, as fat as I could tell, no meat whatsoever, the pastry was dry and tasted burnt and to top it off I was charged $27 for it.Avoid it like the plague.

Always good food at a reasonable price.

First time visitWe had Sunday lunch.Restricted parking on the Ale House grounds. Other parking available adjacent.Quite a large amount of seating available, both inside and out. Covered and open seating outside.Chilrens play area is part of the undercover seating. Not the best if you are looking for peaceful dining.Noticed the smokers move to near the outside seating area.The exterior needs some attention.Rotten boards and broken tiles at the entrance.The so called background music is a great idea if its exactly that. Background. Bit loud for the patrons.We ordered fish and chips.The order arrived pretty much straight away.We got what was described. Fish n Chips.No salad but they had a container of tartare sauce. The lemon supplied was so hard it was no use putting it on the plate.We saw their advertised platters get delivered to a couple of tables. You will need a healthy appetite to order that.Will we be back.Most likely as our family have moved in just around the corner.Night meals may be different.We will see
