Wyndhamere Motel, Shepparton

Stay away. $165 bought me a nightmare: a toilet that leaked all night (and judging by the stain had been leaking for months), mould in the shower, dead bugs everywhere, blinds that were torn and didn’t close properly, a front door with a 1/2” gap around half of it (explains dead bugs) and a bunch of rowdy drunk guests yelling and throwing up outside my window for two hours. Nobody answered the night bell when I rang it. This hotel is run by a management company with staff that really don’t care.

Arrived late and key was left in the box with code access, but the code was set wrong so had to wait for the pyjama lady to bring the key. Other than that a good motel for Shepparton.

Check in Good but slow.Spa room was only one left.Clean. Shower was only just warm enough.Put some food into fridge only to find that fridge was not working next morning so it had to be binned.Chair at bench was almost dangerous to sit on. Been repaired with a couple of screws that must have been done by someone with well below average skills. Left a couple of notes to say what was wrong but don’t expect any reply.Wouldn’t bother to stay there again for such an inflated price.

The room size was cozy (not cramped), The TV was big, the internet fast, and customer service excellent. The pool looked great, but being 10 degrees at the time I wasn't up for swimming. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodation in Shepparton.Recently they've updated to a keycard system for the rooms. It makes getting in and out of the rooms very easy and secure.

This is a great place to stay on a budget. Nice clean rooms and comfy beds and pillows!!

I stayed in the apartments located behind the motel. It was lovely. Very clean and quiet. Perfect parking right outside of the room so I felt safe.The staff member that I delt with via messages, Kaitlin, was very kind and helpful.Comfortable beds, AMAZING shower - its a waterfall showerhead on the roof. There was a TV in the bedroom. I thought that was cool.I will definitely stay again.The only downside was there is an automatic gate seperating the motel and apartments. I couldn't see anywhere that had hours on when it operates (though I could be mistaken) One late evening the gate wouldn't open for me no matter how close I got, so I had to drive around and find my way to the apartments. It was a little bit of an inconvenience, mainly because I didn't know the back streets or the street name to get across to the apartments.I had been using maps and always putting in the motel address as I could drive straight through there, through the gate and to the apartments. However after the gate not opening that late night I noted the actual address of the apartments and changed my maps to say 67 Maude Street instead of just typing the motel name into maps. Once changed it would take me a different way but it would take me exactly to the apartments. So no big deal, just something to be mindful of if you're staying in the apartments, aren't sure of streets and get frazzled easily like me haha.

My partner stayed in the serviced apartments section & the staff were very friendly & helpful.Always made sure there was enough towels, tea, coffee etc.The apartments were spacious & clean with cooking facilities.

Staff were very helpful & happy. Room was clean, neat, comfortable, everything you need & looked like photos on internet no surprises. Resturant was lovely, handy as we traveled a long way arriving 630pm didn’t need to go back out looking for dinner food was fantastic & we were able to do take away dessert to our room. We would stay again.

Room a good size but way over priced on the day. If I booked it a week later it would have been $150 cheaper. Was meant to get a spa room but did not. It was nice to get complimentary chips, water and wine. The location of the toilet right behind bathroom door a bit silly plus shower had no curtain or door and needed a safety rail.

Only good thing here was the check in process..Room was dirty, had Broken furniture, stained curtains, lucky to get a trickle of water for a shower, toilet doesn’t flush properly, taps leaking and to top it off the room was dirty! Just disgusting really considering the money they charge.. I’d imagine a Backpackers would have better conditions!
