Bella Nails

I got my acrylics removed from them earlier this week, and the lady literally pulled/yanked them off my nail beds without any acetone, despite myself telling her that it was painful. My nails have been so painful for the whole week, that I can't even press on them very lightly, and they don't look like they will heal anytime soon. Never going back again.

Bad experience all around.Water was cold, even though both me and another lady commented, there was no attempt to fix or explain why.Leg rub was just the same spot on my shin, not relaxing at all.Shape and length requests where repetivly ignored, they dident even ask and I had to prompt.No music in store, staff constantly talking loudly to each other and ignoring customers.Worce part is they nicked my skin in four different places, this has never occurred elsewhere. Technically excececuted very badly.Service cost $95 and store was quiet as it was a weekday, I expect a lot more. Will not be visiting again.

I’ve gone to Bella Nails a few times now. The first time I went there which was in September, the work was amazing. However, since then myself and friends/family haven’t been impressed. I’ve paid for multiple manicures and I’ve only had them painted and didn’t get the rest of the service. My mum went in today, asked for infills on her nails except the lady started shaving down her nail after my mother told her no, she proceed to ignore her and remove the gel polish whilst causing her pain. The lady then did 4 coats just to take it off again. In the end my mum ended up with only one coat of gel and paid $50… that is outrageous. On another note, a friend had gone in for a pedicure. The lady had no idea what she was doing and just starting painting them without doing the rest of the service. She was notified, took the polish off and started from scratch again. However, she shaved too much off of her feet to the point it caused pain when she walked. She called the salon and they said she would get a full refund if she came back but instead she was scolded by the people working there instead. This is unacceptable. None of us will be back.

Edit - can currently see an infection forming under the acrylic nail !!Decided to pop into mt ommaney instead of ipswich which I go to regularly as it was closer, asked if they had time for a full set they said yes, the women took so long doing a full set of French tip, almost an hour plus she had help from another worker filling the nails, she filled them for so long I’m not sure there was actually any point putting the acrylic on ! So thin now it wouldn’t surprise me if they snap off after a short amount of timeonly got 1 thin coat of gel which is bubbly and rough as they were trying to rush me even though they agreed to having enough time !Not worth the $50

I came to Bella Nails today for SNS over my natural nails. The lady was lovely and very gentle with the drills which I appreciated but my SNS is very poorly applied. I get this all the time but first time at Bella Nails. I wish I could upload a photo of how awful they look. So thick and fake looking. The actual shape of the sns doesn’t follow the natural shape of my nail. If it was cold I would be wearing gloves to hide them until it’s time to go somewhere else and get them reapplied. My daughter and I regularly have pedicures at Bella Nails and they have been fine but after the child like application of my SNS I will never return.

I had an amazing time with my best friend, we both got our pedicures done and it was the most relaxing experience I have had done in a very long time! And my toes have never looked better! Good place to get pampered ♥️

Nails were wonky but only when you look close but still.I had to file them myselfI didnt want wonky nails for $75ridiculous

I’ve been coming to Bella Nails since about August this year, and I love it- it’s my go to place for a reason. Everyone’s really kind, the art is beautiful and the attention to detail is superb

I was very disappointed with my service. The actual nails themself are lovely. Great work. And I'm not saying that this isn't a good salon. It is, and you do the nails very very well. But the customer service was not it. I had booked for the full acrylic set with the regular nail polish. And I went in, chose my colour, all fine. But they used the gel nail polish (which is 15 dollars extra) without me knowing. (like I'm sorry I didn't look at the label of the nail polish and see for myself. It's not like what I booked for is what I wanted. And you know, usually you should consult with your customer on that, because I'm pretty sure I should get a say in what I'm paying for. It was a sneaky way to get more money, because I clearly did book for it. And this isn't even the thing that upset me the most. When I went to pay, and was told it came to 60 bucks, I confronted the person on counter, saying that I did not book for the gel polish and was unaware it was used. I explained that I was overcharged for what I booked. This is what annoyed me- they brushed it off, saying it was what I asked for and blaming me. And I was also annoyed because I had to get the person I was there with to cover the cost and then get my Mum to transfer the money to them (because I didn't have enough- I only had enough for what I asked for since I'm literally an unemployed teenager.) So thanks to this mistake, my Mum has had to pay $60 and I feel extremely guilty. I know this has also come off as a bit aggro, but I would be more understanding and calm if I got an apology and charged for the correct price. I am usually not one to write neg reviews on places cuz I'm not a Karen, but this really annoyed me.
