It was great to visit Bacchus after reopening. The service is exceptional and certainly deserves a five star. The high tea overall was good but not out of this world. We had a type of shortbread with cream and jam, not scones. That was interesting. The sweets were a great size but was reasonable with the exception of the macaroons which were outstanding. The savoury layer was delicious. The teas and selection thereof were a treat with a special mention to Hot Cinnamon Tea.

I have visited here on several occasions, having sampled their high tea, pizzas & cocktails.The high tea was of an impeccable quality. Service was 10/10.The food in the high tea was so deliciousI've enjoyed several of their cocktails with pizzas & have not been disappointed by any of it.

Well priced high tea, but only good not great. The scones were dry and disappointing and the tea is made using tea bags which was a let down. Service was very attentive and bottomless tea was a nice touch.

We had an absolutely out of this world experience!!! The new winter degustation menu was just magnificent. Chef Manuele’s creations were truly works of art with immaculate presentation and the flavours that keep you wanting for more!! And the wine pairing was flawless!! Impeccable service from Christie and her team as well. Thank you for such a unique and stunning culinary experience!!

Such a great restaurant and dining experience. The quality and attention to detail to food, drink and service is amazing. Kevin in particular has always been superbly welcoming, warm and an absolute professional. It's a pleasure to dine at Bacchus.

Last Saturday we booked a two/three pre show-dinner course meal. Upon arrival we were directed to the bar to sit instead of the restaurant area which was disappointing.Verdict on the meal:The mains (steak and snapper) were very good. My partner was disappointed the portion size of the snapper was small. The deserts were amazing.Classy bar!!We dropped into the Bacchus bar for a quick drink before the concert(David Gray) at the Brisbane Convention Centre. We ordered a cosmopolitan and a cold sake. The bar and seating area was very inviting and comfortable. The barman was friendly and had an immense wealth of knowledge in Sake. Both drinks was top notch. The great thing is the restaurant is adjoined to the Brisbane convention centre so it was a seamless walk. Next time will be dropping for their pre theatre dinner package.Highly recommend this place for a special event.

Brilliant service with attention to detail. Very helpful especially if you are pressed for time and need to get to the theatre or an event. Love the small touches and whimsy in the presentation. Would highly recommend for a celebration or when you're seeking a delicious meal. We had some keto dietary restrictions and they were 100% accommodated, and even our take away box was presented with care.

Went here for a wine tasting and had such a great time.The venue is really smart! The staff are welcoming and friendly.The wine tasting was excellent. Educational and interesting. The wine quality was fantastic. We got to try aged wines, such a treat and opportunity!Christie and Kevin did an excellent job of hosting the tasting. They made it enjoyable for all levels of wine knowledge.The canapes They served with the food were amazing. Each dish was delicious and well balanced.Now that I know about this place, I'll definitely be returning for dinner. I also look forward to trying more wines off their amazing wine list. They truly have a fantastic wine selection! I was really impressed by the amount of aged wines they have and that their prices were so reasonable!We stayed after the tasting and bought more wine. We tried a 2010 Albarino. The bottle was only $50! It was delicious.We ordered some cheese also and they were amazing.Get on their mailing list by heading to their website, this way, you will be the first to know about these special tastings that they have coming up!
