The forth star is for the kind staff. What really sets this place back is the quality of the hot food. The chicken chips are really dry and the chickens need to be cooked longer. There are some items here that are overpriced. I live 5 mins away which is honestly the only reason I come here. The beggers outside get a bit annoying too, but I was homeless once myself so I can understand... just... holy f I gave you change yesterday just let me shop! Lol

If I could write this review without giving a star I would the Redfern store is disgusting they never have products that are advertised and all the cheaper brands are out the back and they won't go out and get you anything from the back, the staff are mainly rude and the boss is rude and arrogant they want customers but they judge them and treat them like rubbish disgusting behaviour.

Not at much variety as bigger stores but I guess that's because of the smaller size of store. They use the Metro" label as an excuse to have higher prices. I once went to buy a SIM card that was advertised as half price

Wonderful staff. They are always available to direct, or take you to, any items you are looking for. It is a very small Woolies compared to most, but it has all or most products I need. And a great range of fresh fruit and veg. It is the go to" supermarket for locals

This store doesn't stock the items on their website. It's not that they've sold out, they don't sell the items period. Your better off driving round the corner onto phillip street, there's an aldi's and a coles.

Busy metro. It used to be a super market. It's near city so lot of junkies around the area. Expect some rude behaviour from them. Other than that all good. Close to all amenities.

Ugh. They made its metro. So it no longer stocks most everything I buy. Not the cat food, not the soy sauce , not the pasta sauce, nor the dim sims I rather buy. Most of the choices I make are due to budget constraints. So I go to Woolies at Fountain street in Alexandria, a little further but better variety and prices.
