Wonderful track. Reading some other reviews. Wouldn't say it's an advanced track. But yes it's a real track, you need appropriate footwear and gear. It is steep and there is mud, and no hand rails (good grief). Care needed but no where near death defying. Not for the Sunday drive nice clothes wearing types who need a nice wide concrete path and fenced lookouts with a cafe nearby!

A great little track down to a waterfall. But not maintained, so be prepared to watch your step and brush away scrub and bushes.

Really beautiful and serene spot. Not well known to people, so it’s still a natural oasis. Very step and long walk down and back up. You can enter either from station street on the Dell track or at the bottom of Westbourne Avenue.Often very shallow water so not great for swimming but still gorgeous.

Track for advanced walkers only. Not suitable for children. Track overgrown, steps rotten and no hand rails. Very limited to no parking on Dell road which is a rough dirt fire track and NOT a road that is suitable for regular vehicles. Track has been damaged by flooding. Park at Train station instead. Dogs must be on leash as Council Rangers appear to frequent this dirt fire track for access.

Such a beautiful trail and the waterfall is just spectacular. I went around 9am and there wasn’t a single other person around which was nice!The walk to the falls is a little dangerous if it’s been raining but other than that it was lovely!

This is a steep trail, the climb out is a consistent incline and it requires appropriate shoes and gear. The trail is steep, not always well maintained, and often uneven. Not recommended for the unfit. The falls are beautiful and it’s worth the effort if you’re up to a bit of a climb. I wouldn’t try this walk with small kids or if your group includes people who are unfit. It’s wet and slippery in patches even days after rains. The trail passes behind the waterfall and there’s a little picnic spot with a table that was somehow teleported down the bottom of the dell. A beautiful photogenic spot, well worth visiting.
