Bells Beach Bin Hire

My neighbours Landscaper SCB ( Surf Coast Building) used this bin service. Left OUR front lawn wrecked in parts by large truck gaining repeated access to drop off bin. No apologies from anyone until we contacted them a week later(giving them the chance to rectify lawn). That was 29th Nov and now it is Feb. Nothing, despite saying it would be rectified. If you are proud of your lawn( has peaks and troughs now from spinning truck tyres) it would make you angry too.

Chris was so helpful and responsive to our requests, especially given our short time constraints. He provided timely delivery and pickup of bins. He went out of his way to help in any way he could.

This organisation was not booked by me but rather by the tradesperson I had engaged. He hired them. The bin was supposed to arrive on Monday morning at 9 a.m. It was booked for that time. It finally arrived at 1.35 p.m.. By this stage the tradesperson had taken back the hire digger and other equipment he had arranged for a full days work and needless to say there was no work conducted at this time. The tradesperson rang numerous times and was told initially that the bin would be 40 mins away but after it did not arrive the phone never answered after that. The bin was filled over the next day or so and was arranged to be removed on Thursday afternoon or Friday morning. It was stressed that this was when the bin was to be collected as we had removalists booked to arrive on Friday and needed the driveway to be clear. Needless to say they did not show up. By Friday afternoon I spoke with the tradesperson who said they had made contact with the Bin hire people but was told they were too busy. My removal truck had to sit in the middle of the road and unload out there which is firstly unsafe and secondly inconvenient. Finally the person showed up on Saturday late morning to collect the bin. I would never recommend this Co or the subsidiary Jims hire" that they run under. They don't appear to care about the inconvenience they cause or whether they give any form of appropriate customer service. I personally run a business and this is not how I treat my customers nor would I ever treat people with such contempt. Never again and steer clear."
