Must visit Cellar door in Southern Highlands! We nearly forgot we were at a Cellar Door as Nick took us back to our trips to Italy and enjoyed his suggestion on wine paring with their yummy food made with love! We will be back for the limoncello gelato as they made sure we ate and drank a little too much before we left!

Side a cute little place run by an elderly Italian couple since 2002, about 6-8 wines on offer, enjoyed and bought their classic forest red (blend of Pinot noir + Sangiovese) $27 and their limoncello $45. The 2021 Chardonnay also very good.

Stopped here for a light lunch instead of the usual fast food places. We were pleasantly surprised. This place is a hidden gem. Lovely lovely owners, great service and lovely authentic Italian foods. Nick the owner also gave us a personal wine tasting of his range of red, white and fortified wines while our chacuterie board with warm bruchetta bread was being prepared. Had coffee to go at the end which was lovely also. We will be back for sure and such a pleasant change from the golden arches and crowds there !

Amazing experience here with a group of 11 friends and our kids. The garden is beautiful to sit in, overlooking the vines. There isn't a huge selection of wines but that's okay, they more than make up for it with their quality. The favourites were the Pinot Grigio and the Forest Red which was superb.Great service, great nibblies at a very reasonable price. The tasting fee was included and it ended up about $26pp (incl. kids shares) when we split the bill 11 ways - for tasting of 4 wines and a couple of dessert wines, snacks, the sorbet and a couple of bottles between us enjoyed in the garden. We were quoted $15pp for nibblies and tasting which is quite reasonable - without the sorbet & wine bottles. The cured meat platter was lovely and there were nice dips and crackers too.The lemoncello sorbet is not to be missed. We grabbed 5 between us to have a taste and everyone thoroughly enjoyed them. The dessert wines are beautiful - A lovely port and a nice Botrytis dessert wine.Space for the children to play in the garden and everyone had an absolutely amazing time. We went to two other wineries afterwards but this was everyone's favourite experience. We spent a little over 2 hours here in the garden and thoroughly enjoyed it.The hosts, Nick and Santina, were just so lovely and made sure we enjoyed our time there. It was no problem to fulfil our requests and they were quite calm about 11 adults and 7 kids.We recommend x11 (kids too! They loved the sorbet!).

The 81-year-old owner and aunt are like parents. The taste of delicious wine is another pleasure.Italian food that can be eaten together is also excellent. Alcohol made with lemon is by far the best alcohol in the world.

Very enjoyable experience. Nice wines, personal service, yummy antipasto plate with the warmth of a wood fire.

Great home-style Italian restaurant and winery with absolutely lovely owners. Spent lots of time there having lunch and chatting with them. Their pinot noir and shiraz blend is like a nice Italian Chianti. Other wines (pinot grigio and pinot noir) are fantastic as well. Sitting outside in a shade, next to vines and having lunch on a sunny day is like making a trip to Tuscany. Lovely place, lovely people, lovely food and wine.

Quite a lovely afternoon to take us back to sitting outside a trattoria in Tuscany, Italy. Lovely music playing, while we sipped wine and ate bruschetta. Playing cards and then drinking Paronis in the sun. Take a little stroll through the vineyard, on a sunny day it’s delightful. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Best easy drinking red wines in the Southern Highlands. The Classic Forest Red is fantastic. The family run Italian restaurant makes this an amazing stop on any trip south of Sydney, with the highlight being the fresh Bruschetta - but definitely grab a toasted panini as well!
