It was literally a dream come true to work with Dalecki Design, and they did not disappoint! From our very first conversation, we found Janik, Scott, Curtis and co to be respectful, considered and creative. They challenged our thinking and shared their rationale while designing a beautiful home that met our brief (and more). Changes in market and personal circumstances meant we did not progress beyond the design phase, but again Janik and team were understanding and respectful. We look forward to a time when we can engage Dalecki Design on another project, and would highly recommend them to others wanting something sustainable, personal and above the ordinary.

Janik designed our friends house (The Ash) which we fell in love with. When we had the opportunity to build our own dream home were were so very excited to have the opportunity to have him design our family home.We felt immediately comfortable with Janik from the first meeting and I would highly recommend him for his knowledge in stylish custom design and his prompt assistance throughout the whole development.He guided us through the process from design to build, facilitating the various council approvals and permits required. Janik provided clever solutions when needed and was always available to answer all of our questions.Janik took our brief and ideas and transformed them into a functional, unique, inspiring design that ticked all the boxes from our brief, meeting our needs and our budget whilst working with a difficult block.We told Janik we wanted to feel like we were on holidays once we walked through our front door, leaving the stresses of day behind. Now that we are living in our home I can honestly say that engaging Dalecki Design was the best decision we made as that is how we feel every day when we enter our home.

We were very happy with the process and the outcome we achieved from engaging Dalecki Design for a renovation and extension of our 1920s workers cottage. Our new home transitions from old to new seamlessly, and now has all the modern luxuries which have been impeccably designed. Our house is in a heritage area, and the thoughtful design has maintained the character of the federation bungalow while maximising the benefits of the north facing rear to create a home that meets all our current and future needs. We are very happy customers.

Janik designed and managed for us the build on our Californian Bungalow extension. It was a more than doubling of the space and needed a unique approach to the orientation of the extension, the re-arrangement of the internal spaces and consistency of style.He did an extraordinary job in creating a home that was both beautiful and comfortable to live in. We collect all the natural light, the spaces flow into each other and we're constantly finding angles and places to admire and enjoy.The process of design and build was always thoughtful and considerate and he was engaged with the builder and other parties to sort and smooth any issues.

Dalecki Design were incredibly professional, friendly and engaging to work with, creating a phenomenally creative, usable and environmentally aware space that makes us feel like we're holidaying at home. As a builder myself, the plans created by Dalecki Design were more comprehensively detailed than any I'd worked with, allowing me to save costs, increase accuracy and reduce waste. We have already recommended Dalecki Design to our family and friends and wouldn't even think twice about who we'd use to design our future homes.

Janik is a superstar in our books.In 2017, when it came to designing a new extension for our 1970s home, it was really important to us to incorporate passive-solar principles. Janik was the perfect fit for the job as not only is he incredibly focused and experienced, but he is beautifully creative in the way that he executes the home's design.He worked with an extensive brief for our home and he managed to give us everything we asked for. No change or idea was too difficult for him to deal with and they were all done quickly and extremely efficiently. When our budget had to be tightened halfway through the design process, Janik took it all in his stride and delivered an alternative that is as good as the original, and all in record time.Meeting deadlines and budgets is clearly important to him. Janik is also very fun to work with and we now have the pleasure of regarding him as a friend.And then in 2022, when we tapped on his shoulder to help us add a spa area to the then four-year-old extension, he didn't hesitate to offer us a cost-effective solution and to help with the approvals process with the local council.His multi-award winning designs are a testament to the quality of his work and we hope to add to his list of accolades when our project is complete.

We engaged with Dalecki Design very early in our journey to design and build our forever home. Having recently moved into the completed product we couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out – and we definitely plan to stay here forever! We had never designed or built a home before, but Janik patiently guided us through the process and provided all the support we needed to navigate each step (and some extra hurdles too!). From the council approvals to tendering and final fit-out selection the input from Janik and his team was invaluable. But for me the most important thing Janik and the team at Dalecki Design were able to do was to help us understand what kind of house we actually wanted to build. Discovering how we wanted our home to look, feel and function was such an exciting and enjoyable experience, and we ending up making creative decisions we otherwise wouldn’t have considered if it hadn’t been for Janik. I highly recommend Dalecki Design. Janik was very considered in designing our new home and has a personalised approach. He met the brief of what we wanted and listened to our preferences for certain materials, functionality and low maintenance, while making it look pretty smart all within the constraints of the block size and council requirements. He provided advice along the way and took care of all the details. All this made the whole experience stress free. We’re looking forward to seeing the construction of our home completed soon.
