Outdated.. pictures nothing at all like it actually is.. coffee across the road not recommended... advertised as a vila.. more like an old motel room in the country.. very outdated..

Matilda's End Holiday Units
It has everything basic that you need, kitchen, bed, table, outdoor area, laundry, parking aircon. The owners are lovely. There is Karamba Lodge/Pub just down the road. It is about a 10 minute drive to the sunset bar / spot by the beach. The walls are paper thin, so you do not have too much privacy. Bring your own shampoo /conditioner.

Great location close to all amenities including best coffee at Mick’s cafe.Extremely helpful on site manager, Theresa. Took care of our every need, nothing was too much trouble.Would highly recommend to any tourist or business looking for good, comfortable accommodation whilst in Karumba.My staff and I had the most enjoyable stay and look forward to our next visit at Matilda’s End.Ranzo

I wouldn't stay here... All I did was call and ask if it was pet friendly and how much the unit cost. She did offer me a smaller unit that was a little cheaper.. BUT when I said I would look around and call her back if interested her response was probably best if you don't call us back" seriously rude. Also asked me 2 what breed my dog was which I responded twice he is a rescue and a mix breed... Sorry lady I prefer to spend my money where people are not rude and uptight.. how offensive..."

Cosy place with an at home atmosphere. Inside the villas clean and tidy. The kitchenette has all your necessities included. The pool is quite small but well maintained. Main shopping and cafe stores are just across the road which is convenient. Very friendly staff and other residents are respectful.

Great place to stay! Clean & comfortable, hosts are amazing. Excellent location as it's close to supermarket, chemist, butchers & just a stroll to the animal bar

Matilda's End Holiday Units
A fantastic motel with a feel of living at home. All the villas are fully self contained. Friendly and helpful staff- and a fantastic place to relax. It is located right across the road from all the main shops and backs onto the Normanton river and boat ramp. Excellent location. I throughly enjoyed myself staying at Matildas End Holiday Units and I highly recommend this place to anyone passing through. ☺️

Found a good deal on booking.com. When we arrived, the care taker lady didn't want to give us the room. She called the management and I had an argument about the price. In the end, they gave us the room as booked.While unpacking the car, the door was open and suddenly a man jumped inside holding a hammer and yelled: 'get out'. It was extremely frightening and we called the police. It was the husband of the care taker lady who was not amused we insisted the price we booked for.I emailed the management afterwards as well and never got a response.

The unit themselves were perfect. Everything you need is there. Location is right in the centre of town with a supermarket, pharmacy, Cafe and butcher right across the road. Cafe sold the best fish and chips and coffee. The manager was friendly and would do anything we needed. Great place to stay

The only good thing is that there is shops across the street. Very old and needs to be either updated or demolished. Stove top was greasy and also the glass lids on the saucepans. The drinking glasses were filthy also.
