Scribbles And Giggles Child Care Centre

A few of the educators were great but a number of educators also got up and left... so it appears its all down to management and perhaps the working culture. Sad to say but I regret taking my son here. You were asked not to speak to the educators during drop off/pickup, you had to make an appointment but it could take days as they are understaffed. There was a number of change in managers but I didn't find any of them warm or approachable.There was no loyalty either, we filled out a form to say we required care just before school started the following year but they booted out all the graduates with two weeks notice just before Christmas. I'd spoken out about this and they suggested alternatives. They could of avoided the distress by doing this in the first instance or given more notice to the families to make other arrangements.

My son has been attending scribbles and giggles Leppington since they opened back in 2020,the staff have been amazing and accommodating over the years,it will be a sad day at the end of the year when we go

My children have been attending Scribbles and Giggles Leppington since they opened. There have been some rough patches (as with all childcare agencies through COVID) but they managed it all really well. The current team of educators are amazing - kind, caring and compassionate and the current management team is much more approachable and welcoming.

High turnover, lack of communication. No feedback or concerns raised by educators unless initiated by the parents. My child was isolating themselves for months and educators did not think this was concerning.TV is always playing in the background with youtube or netflixs.I was told by an educator that she had been discussing with other educators that my child most likely not have a diagnosis they had been given".No access to classroom

My son went to scribbles for 2 years. The educators were great, especially his final year, his teachers miss Sofia and miss Emily really taught him a lot and were very caring

High turnover, felt like I saw someone new every time I went in. Tv always playing in classroom. Teachers would copy and paste the same description everyday on the day book of the Kinderm8 app, even toilet times. So you don’t know exactly what your child is doing during attendance. Teachers do not discuss child’s progress unless asked and even then they make you feel like they’re too busy to answer your questions. Constantly found my daughter playing by herself upon pick up and when I questioned them they said “we can’t force the kids to play together” .. I didn’t ask for my daughter to be forced but I believe constant encouragement is crucial to help a toddler break out of their shell. Don’t recommend this place if you’re looking to build your toddlers social skills.My daughter is currently attending a new centre and after only a few weeks she’s THRIVING.

My eldest has been coming to this centre since he was a year old, he is now almost 4 and he has reached his milestones thanks to these excellent educators at scribbles and giggles. The management has great communication skills and will be so patient with you if you need to call and check on your kid every two hours!

Definitely do not recommend this centre as an early childhood educator myself to hear about some incidents that happened to my close family member who attended this centre and it was only the first few times of attending there is really disappointing to hear. Hearing about children being left in their own vomit and going home in a soiled nappy that a child has clearly been left in for some time. I know it can be difficult to keep an eye out on children who poo after the recommended nappy change times but keeping children in their own vomit isn’t showing best practice at all.

Both my kids love going to scribbles & giggles child care for their teachers and friends. They have excellent resources and facilities. All the staff are amazing and take wonderful care of our kids. Highly recommend!
