National Tiles Mitcham

Service is a debacle. Made order in Feb for a small quantity of tiles. Order quantity was incorrect on invoice. Got call last week from Mitcham store to tell me they have issues with their ordering system and calling all customers to check if order received or still waiting. Then got call next day asking me same thing! Not instilling any confidence that they know what they're doing

Big showroom and a reasonable range of tiles. Some other local businesses have more. They always seem to have one or two sub $10 per sq m options in plain colors that are real bargains if they suit your needs. Otherwise, their prices are about the same as others. Helpful staff and there is a public restroom which is handy after a long day of looking at tiles.

I've been here twice. The first time there was only one staff member and 3 to 4 groups of customers. Customer service was non existent, not even an acknowledgement. We still managed to find the tiles we thought we liked and decided perhaps to come back a second time.Second time we were there, the female staff memeber that assisted us was very helpful, friendly and answered all our questions well. But then another staff member suddenly appeared and started verbally attacking me. I hadn't even a chance to turn around to see who was behind me as I was seated next to the wall and my husband which made it hard for me to turn around. My husband was standing next to her and he turned slightly towards her. But she did not look at him at all and directed her verbal ambush facing at me directly.Honestly I had no idea what her actual words were as I was so caught by surprise and upset by the whole incident. My husband also experienced anxiety at the carpark from this incident and then lost his laptop there.The last thing you would expect is to be verbally attacked by shop staff.

I am a builder who has been working with national tiles mitcham for the last 3 years. I respect and happy with the customer service provided by all the staffs there.However, there is one particular person is exceptional. His name is Jason, you should not work there.YOU DO NOT SPEAK TO CUSTOMER IN SUCH PHRASE:why you tried to jump on the quene

Similar poor experience to others who have left reviews. Customer service is very poor. Chasing an order I tried calling and after waiting an age decided to opt for their call back option. Left my details but never heard back. Tried calling again later the same day but couldn't get to actually speak to someone. On experiencing the same issue the following day, l decided to email my enquiry...... Still waiting for a reply!! There are plenty of other tile suppliers who actually answer the phone without it turning into a saga, I shall be using their services and not National Tiles

Placed an order for tiles on a Thursday, told that would be in on the following Tuesday and would be called when in. I rang Wednesday after not hearing anything only to have to leave a message. NO RETURN PHONE CALL. Rang again Thursday morning to only get through to Customer service who said they would have to call Mitcham them selves. STILL NO RETURN CALL.NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE ON TO SERVICE ANYONE IN STORE.NOT GOOD ENOUGH CONSIDERING THEY HAVE ALL THESE ADDS RUNNING

Walked into the showroom. No other customers in there. We spent 10 minutes looking around without any sales personnel even giving us so much as a hello! Sorry Frank… we won’t be coming back and spending our cash with you.

Great service. To me, it wasn't about price. It cams down to the knowledge of the sales assistant. They just KNEW WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT.Keep up the goid eork

Went to buy flooring waited for over 30 minutes without even being acknowledged by the staff. Walked out they lost a sale as I was going to spend over $600 went to Bunning instead. I guess they just don’t want to make any sales that aren’t to tradies.

Bought tiles from National tiles Mitcham for a bathroom renovation. Karen was exceptional with being so resourceful and helpful from selecting tiles, giving discounts to dispatch. But I ordered tiles for 7 squaremeters with a different sales person. I was suprised to see he has only ordered 7tiles!!!. Again Karen came to help appologised and made the correct order.Had to cancel the tilers and pushed back the work for two weeks.So disappointed with customer care.But their tiles are good quality!Anyway ended up buying from Beaumont Tiles for the second bathroom!!!
