Went there on Saturday and they told me its closed from 9am-5pm on Saturdays due to the shooting range next to it.

1 hr easy coastal and cliff walk, Maroubra-to-Malabar, is spectacular, a wilderness so close to the metropolis and suburbs. Upgraded by Randwick Council. A treasure. Spectacular. Spectacular. Spectacular!

Maroubra to Malabar Coastal Walk
Hidden gem this one around the headland. Paths were well maintained, narrow in some areas and upgraded in others. Estimate 4.5 km loop. Have only run this once with my friend who is local and will do it again.. (was informed it was closed at some point in covid times, unsure if this is still the case)

Maroubra to Malabar Coastal Walk
A number of us were on the rocks just outside the end of the track as it was closed due to the shooting range. Some tried to get around the fence and we’re turned away. Others tried to go as far as the rocks would allow.Whilst the end of the trail was beautiful, everyone was prevented from walking on the trail itself. Don’t waste your time.

Would give 0 stars if could. Constantly closed so the shooting range can pew pew pew.Don't know why money was spent to put in proper broadwalks here when it's always closed. Such a shame and a waste.I have walked it in the past and was very nice but last 2 times have tried it's been closed due to the shooting range.
