What a little gem. We loved this camp ground which is an extinct volcano crater and tons of bird life on the lake. The grounds are well maintained with a few bbq's a toilet block and a cold shower on the shed near the boat ramp which was blessing as boxing day as it was 39 degrees and the lake is shallow with a muddy bottom. Not for me but the kids liked it. Its not a large area but with the trees it creates a bit of separation between other campers. If we are in that area again one day will definitely return. Its a donation to stay so if everyone donates we will keep this place.

Good campground, concrete boatramp,grassed,not huge and flat ground is at a premium if busy, flushing toilets, BBQ,outside cold shower, donation appreciated.Check out lake Edward too, very close by,no camping however good for a stroll and kayaking etc.

Lake Leake
Lake Leake is the crater of an extinct volcano. The shore is covered with very reactive mud, except around the boat ramp.The camping area is lawn, with covered barbecue and facilities.Best views are from the northern rim. Some volcanic layers are exposed along the road.

Good spot for a couple of nights. Right on the water. Grass sites but could get boggy when raining. Clean toilets. Donation box is left of outdoor shower and above water tap, the usual rate is $5 per night. Please donate, not like the other 3 campers who didn't while we were here. They could afford smokes & grog but too lousy to donate $5 but fill their water tanks up & use the toilets. Shame on you.

Boat ramp. BBQ. Lawns to play. Camping area.If it wasn't freezing, would have gone for a dip in the togs.Pretty. A photographer would enjoy it.Would have been mega peaceful if there weren't people on motorbikes tearing it up through the nearby forest.

Lovely campground on the surrounds of a 20,000 year old extinct volcano.Amenities block, Cold water shower, BBQ and picnic area. Boat ramp for water activities.

Great place to camp and swim. Yabbies are plentiful and the BBQ and toilets are kept clean.
