Decided to use VW service to repair the damaged wing mirror on my 2010 Golf R - I purchased the car from new from the same VW dealership (same garage, maybe owner of the dealership has changed hands). Went through the dealer's order process - had to wait a week while they obtained and painted the correct parts. Received several text messages reminding me to turn up. Turned up. VW took receipt of my car. Got home, to receive a message that VW had the colour wrong on the replacement part (wing mirror cap). They then tried to tell me that I had non-factory parts (I did not, it came from the factory like that) and tried to tell me I was the second owner (I was not, I had the car from new) - they should have known both of these facts already..given they sold the car to me in the first place..but..hey ho ! I've never had a great experience with the VW dealership - but figured I'd use them for this relatively simple" fix..however

Outstanding service.Dropped my car off for an inspection this morning. Was provided a shuttle service to get back to my destination only to realise that I had forgotten my house key at Brighton Volkswagen (Urrggh!!)I spoke with Penny who quickly arranged for the key to dropped off. Trinity was super fast in getting it to my home.I am VERY APPRECIATIVE of the effort and professionalism of the team. They went above and beyond.Thanks Penny & Trinity

-I was getting reminders - email and text message which was great as i would likely forget.-drop off to my area in which i didn’t need to book a cab-Steff was so nice to me-Trinity was very gracious accomodating to my needs as i couldn’t pick up the car sooner as i was flooded at work.-Joe was so friendly.Overall really happy with the assistance that I got, it was a very stressful time for me not having a car and the kindness does wonders and didn’t add to my burdens.Amazing service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Maddie S and Trinity provided professional efficient customer service even though they seemed quite busy.My 4 year old car seems to be running well and the service was done promptly, car being returned to me on time.VW Brighton has a nice area for working on one’s laptop and Joe the barister is always up for a laugh while serving free hot drinks until 12:30

We were travelling through Melbourne when our Volkswagen multivan had a hiccup. I rang Brighton Volkswagon and Jenny, the receptionist had us booked in straight away.The service team went over and beyond to get us back on the road.Jenny organised complimentary transport for us and made sure we were comfortable. We were on the road again within 24 hours. The whole team were very friendly, sympathetic and professional. I highly rate these guys. Oh, and a huge thumbs up to Joe, the coffee man. The coffee was seriously good!

Not helpful at all. I would avoid at all cost. I have an ongoing fault for 6 months with an EPC light which can only be diagnosed when the fault is present. They won’t help diagnose the fault when present - I have to book an appointment, likely when not present! What a joke.Waverley VW - completely different story. Happy to help. Take your business there instead of this place!

I did my regular service at Brighton for the first time. My car was not cleaned on collection when I was advised that the car would be cleaned in and out upon completion of the service. When I told them that the car hasn't been cleaned, all they said was 'come back next time'...I am guessing that they performed the normal services and regular checks so no comments on that but if you want to have your car serviced and cleaned, this is not the place.I normally go to Frankston or Mornington service centre and my experience for the last five years have been absolutely amazing.

I’m exhausted and loathe dealing with this mob, that I am at my wits end that can’t bring myself to write war and peace on the lengthy chronology of every or time they’ve let us down (my wife, children and I).I’ll come back to this review in the future to add the rest of my history and context with this lot but I assure those reading this review that the issues are collectively material. Moreover, as a google reviewer I absolutely do refrain from sharing negative experiences asI find it difficult to speak badly of a business or any entity for that matter. But this post is for the benefit of others and a community service to those taking the time to research online before making an informed decision.To contrast simply look at both the number and quality of reviews of the other Volkswagen Dealerships (take a look at Waverley Volkswagen for example) which makes this lot stand out in stark comparison.Do yourself a favour and take your business elsewhere.

Based on my unfortunate adventures with Brighton Volkswagen Service Centre, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend their services. During my first visit, their express service left me stranded in a soul-less waiting area for well over half an hour beyond the promised completion time as they completed post-service paperwork. To make matters worse, they revealed two additional issues requiring attention in a follow-up service.Hoping for redemption, I reluctantly returned for the follow-up service. Alas, disappointment awaited me once more. I found a problem that should have been resolved was not when I received my car. Thus, I endured another 40 minutes in their makeshift waiting area, contemplating life's mysteries and the pitiable state of my beloved Volkswagen. Their eventual admission of incompetence came as no surprise. Their proposed solution - another follow-up service. And as for a refund? Well, that required a direct request. But unfortunately, it would have needed more paperwork, feeding their bureaucratic appetite.Considering these sagas, I implore all Volkswagen owners seeking automotive excellence to steer clear of Brighton Volkswagen Service Centre. Their untimely service, feeble communication, and inability to tackle even the simplest of problems leave me questioning their competence and reliability.
