Emmaville Mining Museum
One of the most interesting Museums we have seen. There are crystals, petrified wood, historical buildings, old tools, old coins and wartime memorabilia. The ladies were welcoming and there was an elderly gentleman who told you about the exhibits. What a delight - we would recommend to anyone, kids included!!

Amazing collections of minerals and crystals from around the world... Also museum of pioneer life in Australia, Anzac dedicated room with memorabilia, and much more... Entry is only 2 dollar per person. We have been escorted by one of the very knowledgeable volunteer, for about an hour, he showed us around this well organised museum. It is an hidden gem! Thank you

If you’re ever in the area you need to stop in to Walk through this amazing museum looks are so deceiving it looks small but it goes on forever. An amazing array of gemstones. This little town Emmaville has so much history the volunteers that run the museum have put an amazing lot of artifacts from the mining era together. If you will really want to read everything you will need at least 2 to 3 days to go through everything. An Entry fee of $2 you will be blown away with what you can see and learn about this amazing little town.

Amazing reflection of the past and this country’s rich mining history. Lots of memorabilia from the early settlers I haven’t seen anywhere else in the country before. Great selection of stones and rocks to look at or buy as well. Photos don’t do it justice.

A fabulous display of rocks, minerals, gems and artefacts. Well worth the visit and $2.00 entry fee has to be the best value I've had for my money in a long time.

Really interesting museum. Focus is primarily on minerals and gemstones, however there are old buildings to wander through out the back - bakery, grocer, dress shop, tool shop and more. There are a couple of rooms dedicated to our war efforts, including some wonderful tributes to Emmaville's defense force members.Only $2 per person entry - fantastic value.
