Waves Carwash Valet Service

I was about to sell my car so wanted a good detail cleaning. I paid a bit but they did a fantastic job and they were very sweet and attentive. Big recommendation for detailing a selling car. Sold it in 2 weeks.

Wasted 1.5 hours in my precious day off to line for the car wash. We chose the Platinum option and as soon as it’s our turn the machine “broke down” and the worker asked us to turn and enter other lane which is a membership car cleaning, which is so different than the Platinum one. They said they ll give free wipe after and they did, like a pretend wipe that lasted 30 seconds. Terrible service. To make things worse, the broken down machine actually worked after we left. This photo is our car after “wash”. Like I can clean it myself if this is the kind of quality!!!! And I wont need freaking 1.5 hours!!!!

My wife and me asked car washing and interior cleaning today at Gungahlin Waves Carwash station. We are so upset with the service. we was charged $60 to do body wash and interior cleaning .But the body was not cleaned and the eats was still dusted. Two working staff had a look and said would do little bit moor cleaning. But one beard man didn't allow them and argued with us said need pay other $60 more. we are over 65 year old people and have been living in Gungahlin for 15 years. Our all family cars use the service often. We never have had the service like this and the service man like him. After home My wife and me have to do more cleaning ourself. And we don't go back again if service like this.

Used to rate this as the best auto carwash in town. Today used the right hand bay and it neither rinsed the car or dried it on a platinum wash cycle. Dunno what they've done to the program but paying $34 only to have to go home and finish the job myself is a rort.

Love their service! We like how kind and helpful their staff are. We are subscribed to the unlimited car wash club so we just turn up (enough time before they close) and have our car washed and vacuumed. They welcome you with warm greetings and ask what service you are after. They are taking care of our car very well. Their café is also a good place to stay while you wait for your car to be serviced. There is also play area for children to keep them entertained. Their restrooms are also kept cleaned. If you are fond of having your car washed more often, availing the unlimited car wash club membership is worth your money. Truly recommended.

Excellent service and reasonable price. The customer service in the cafe was genuinely brilliant the lovely girl in there seemed to enjoy her job and met everyone who came in with a warm welcome and a smile. Customer service like this is rarely seen in Canberra. She made a mean chicken burger and chips as well. We will definitely be back

I had never been to Waves before but it was suggested by a friend. The person at the start brought over a menu when I explained I hadn't been before. It was suggested I join the Unlimited Waves Club as this would be cheaper than purchasing individual services. Being my first time I wasn't interested in this option. The staff member kept trying to add on extras (increasing the cost), I was able to decline. I paid for a wash and vac ($50), inside windows ($15), jambs wipe ($10), console, dash & panels wipe ($20) and prewash bug prep light ($5) - total $100. Customer service after selecting the items I was after declined. I was unsure of the process but staff acted as if everyone knew what to do. I didn't know when to drive, what gear to be in, where to go once out of the wash tunnel and parked in the vac bay. Nothing was explained and staff weren't happy when I made a mistake (car was in park not neutral) unknowingly and weren't willing to help. The clean itself took over an hour and a half from start to finish which was more than I expected though I could see they were very busy. I returned to my car and was happy with the outcome of the clean, there were a few minor streaks left on the exterior but overall well cleaned. Unsure if I will be back to use the service again.
