You get what you pay for is true here. I paid $158 for 2 nights. Bed was comfortable and warm. Room was smaller than expected. 1 single 2 bunk beds. Bathroom very tight but had shower, toilet, basin and towels required. No chairs in room for watching TV supplied. Located quite close to food outlets and an IGA.

We stayed here for one night! Toilets and showers were decent, very hot water which is great! The caravan spot was very steep and narrow to get into so make sure you take your time if you get one of these powered sites close to the road entrance. We left our caravan and explored the Douglas Aspley Gorge which was lovely and explored the beautiful town! It’s a good price for the location, you get slight ocean views!“Jonique Life” If you find value in our reviews please consider following our social media outlets on Facebook and Instagram as we highlight magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.

There was a festival going on and the camp sites were fully booked, so we decided to stay in the dorms. The lady at the reception was very helpful and friendly. Our female dorm was cosy and warm, and towels and linen were all clean and smelled fresh. There’s good free wifi in the kitchen.Shower was great and toilets were okay. There were some inconvenient backpackers around, but that happens.Overall, very good stay!

Facing booked-out holiday situation, we booked a room via Seaview for the to-be-demolished Silver Sands Motel, for a bargain basement price at peak seasonal time. The rooms are dated but quaint and clean, with fabulous views of the sea and coastline, with a picnic table and deck, toaster, fridge, electric bed warmers, cutlery and plates. Spacious ensuite. Great location so close to town and the Whale Trail.

Good level site but showers were dirty, had no pressure and hardly any hot water. Only 1 dryer so we had to wait hours for it and when we got it we had to do 2 cycles, still wasn’t dry but needed to check out so we took damp washing along with us and dried it at a laundromat.

We booked an unpowered site for the night.Good value.Amenities were dated but clean and well equipped. Laundry was fine. Bbqs and camp kitchen looked good, but we ate out at Lobster Shack for dinner and bakery for breakfast.A short walk to town.

This is more a backpacker hostel with camping possibility than the other way round. Amenities dated but clean and functional, very nice community room and camper's kitchen. Very uninspiring plain grass field for unpowered sites, better for powered ones. As a rare feature: Unisex showers and toilets among the regular separate sex ones.

Decent enough place with ok amenities. The kitchen was fine but a bit messy. Wifi only works in the common area even though we were staying in one of the bedrooms right below. Nice view of the coast. I liked that the beds had electric blankets. No frills or anything but decent for the price.

My friend and I was originally planning to camp in the unpowered lot but after heavy rain flooding the campsite, the friendly lady in reception upgraded our accommodation to a room for no additional cost. It was a decent room, however certainly leaps and bounds above a soaked tent in the rain. The kitchen and bathroom areas was nothing special but still has good value for the price.5/5

Stayed in 4 bed dorm, which was nice. The bathrooms were fairly clean, though a little dated. The seating areas inside and outside were nice. The kitchen could do with a little more pans etc, but was pretty clean.
