Violet Nails Waxing

I just got a simple French manicure so nothing to fancy. The lady doing my nails was rude and very rough, after she had prepped my nails ready to apply the gel she got up and prepped another customers nails, she then sat back down and spoke to the lady next to her for a few minutes before finally starting to do my nails, she did the wrong colour giving me pink nails which I am not allowed at school and told me “well it looks like the picture you showed me” it was far from it. She did my nails and then told me to cure them myself twice for each hand before turning her chair around to talk to another employee leaving me to cure my own nails without supervision. I payed in cash because there machine was not working and not even 6 hours later and the polish on some of my nails have already come off. Poor service altogether. Pay good money for something that doesn’t even last a day.

Was in today with my wife.My wife got shellac toenails and sns fingernails.The quality of work on my wife’s nails is terrible. They are wonky and there’s colour where there shouldn’t be.To top it off the young girl who did her nails was rude and passive aggressive.In response to their reply - simply no to everything. It was no where near 2 hours. It was just over 1 hour (I have my own records - a phone call before walking into the shop at 14:27 and the bank payment at 15:44). I was there while she was choosing colours which was when your girl was still removing her nails. Not sure how that would delay the process. Irrespective of this the time is irrelevant and to be clear our complaint had 2 very clear items with have gone unheard:1. The poor quality of nail (which is easily seen by the provided photos)2. The rude and passive aggressive behaviour of your girlThe nails could have been easily forgotten about if there was an apology for your girls behaviour. I see that this is not going to happen as you demonstrate the same behaviours.I also note that there appears to be a lot of 1 star reviews recently - if these happen to be for the same girl, I would suggest looking inwards instead of blaming your customer and trying to gaslight them.With poor quality service and attitude like this, I can understand why it’s hard to build your business.I wish you well.Thanks

Had a pedicure today and was very disappointed. I have had many pedicures and I know what should be done, and it just seemed like the young girl didn't know what to do. My cuticles were very loosely cut, and some dry parts still remain now, afterwards. She struggled to remove my old nail polish, and there is still staining around my nails. I had to ask her to cut my nails, and she didn't ask how long or if she had trimmed enough. She spent most of the time 'massaging' my legs (very lightly). She only very quickly and lightly exfoliated my feet, so dry skin on my heels and big toes is still present now (the main reason for my visit).Finally, when she told me she was done, I had to ask her to file off the white spots (keratin granulation) on my nails, because I wasn't getting polish over the top and she was just going to leave them looking patchy. The visit was a mess and too much time was wasted on the massage, which wasn't very nice. I have left with dry skin, toe nails that are different lengths, patchy old cuticles on some toes, and polish-stained skin.After all of this, I was charged $40(!) and I didn't even get polish or gel!This has been my third disappointing experience since Violet Nails took over from ProfessioNail at Cairns Central and, although it's the easiest to get to from the carpark, I will not be going back.

My wife and I came in for mani/pedis yesterday while we were on vacation. She is super happy about her pedicure and gel French manicure. I am also super happy about my pedicure, however I paid for a manicure and had my cuticles trimmed quickly and then only a few nails filed on only my left hand. This was my first manicure ever and I felt like I didn’t even get one which was really disappointing and i should have spoke up before leaving the shop. The staff was super friendly and lovely to be around especially being super busy and under staffed.

Beautiful finish on a Matt acrylic. Staff are super friendly and amazingly fast. Talented technicians. Good price. Good quality finish! I recommend. I went with my daughter as a treat, was not disappointed. Excellent business.

I got my formal nails from here and I was so happy with the result. They were so time efficient and patient with any questions I had.I asked for custom nails with 4 black nails and and gold flake nail and they were happy to do it for me.Overall they were very polite and welcoming. Am planning to get my nails done here more often!

Verry Bad, cut me MANY times not worth the $60, verry rough and never received the complimentary hand massage, didn’t listen to me with the length and shape, very wonkey too and would not recommend this to any friends. One last thing is that I had to rip them off in the 1st hour due to the pain and discomfort

Loved my experience visiting Violet nails. I love that they have a wide range of options for nails. The place is peaceful and clean. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Was very happy with the results.

Had my nails done three days later polish chipped off.Wont go back there
