My firm engaged Universal Stone to install a granite reception desk and cabinetry. Suffice to say, it is the envy of all the surrounding offices and receives compliments from everyone who enters our office. The granite is absolutely majestic, with all its natural imperfections and of an extremely high standard. I can't thank Tony and his team of professional and skilled labour enough for this beautiful feature in my office space. If you are looking for natural stone, meticulous workmanship and a team that can deliver what they promise at competitive prices, I highly recommend you look no further than this business.

Tony made a bathroom cabinet plus supplied and cut a benchtop to match. Fantastic job to the highest standard. I am so happy with the workmanship and customer service. Have a kitchen bench and two more bathrooms to do and without doubt I will be engaging the services of Universal Stone.

After getting a quote had very poor communication only to be told less than a week before installation was due that they couldn't even do the job!! Had to delay all other trades whilst I find someone reliable.

My company recently moved office and I had no hesitation in engaging the services of Tony and his team for a second time for our office reception counter. I was, again, thoroughly impressed with Tony's professionalism and workmanship and that of his stonemasons and cabinet maker. The stone is absolutely beautiful! We called at this business on the recommendation of a local business owner.On our initial contact we made a selection and accepted the price quoted.As we were waiting installation of our cabinets we were advised that the measuring and template for our stone benchtop could not be done until the cabinets had been installed.The business proprietor (Tony) stated that he lived close to us and would come and measure either on his way to or from work as soon as we were in a position to proceed.We attempted to contact Universal Stone 4 times over several days in order to progress the transaction leaving messages on Tony's voicemail but failed to receive a response.A few days later Tony phoned (out of the blue) at around 7.30 am and said that he was able to come and measure in about 10 minutes if that was acceptable to us and we agreed.When he had measured and made the template for our top I requested a firm date for installation as we had other trades that were to follow.He obliged by advising 2 dates approximately a week later.On the day prior to the proposed installation date I again attempted to confirm that everything was running to schedule , however, once again my call diverted to messagebank.Surprisingly my call failed to elicit a response.The installation never happened.Following this I called at Universal Stone and cancelled the order.I have since placed an order elsewhere with a better product at a cheaper price.It beggars belief that this business has survived with such a poor attitude towards customers.

Very disappointing. No follow up No proper quotes. Do not use these people. They make a lot of excuses. Never call back and lie about when they are delivering with no shows and promises that work has been done when it hasn't. Avoid at all costs and save your time and money. Tony should retire. He is not a good business person and doesn't tell the truth. Go elsewhere and save yourself alot of trouble

I feel compelled to write this positive review about my positive experience with Universal Stone. I was referred to Universal Stone by a friend whose building company had a long term relationship with the business and had worked together on amazing stone projects & installations throughout the Perth region.I engaged Tony to install my kitchen, bathroom (and later my sister-in-law did so too!) and laundry bench tops and cabinets. From the moment I met Tony I was immediately comfortable and confident in his knowledge, advice, candour and ability to deliver the service within the timeframe and budget. Tony is very 'old school' in the way he conducts his business - he is not tech savvy - but he will drop everything to assist when he meets with with you and give you undivided attention. You immediately appreciate this when you visit the factory and showroom at universal stone. The competitive prices Tony gives are the result of effort and expense put into the workmanship and expert labour - not fancy showrooms or websites. I urge visitors to the factory to appreciate that the effort is put into quality materials and artisan craftsmanship.I found Tony to be a gentle, polite, sincere and humble man who does not over promise and who is confident in his knowledge of stone and the trade. The business exceeded our expectations and we are utterly delighted with the installations (as is my sister-in-law) and would not hesitate to engage Tony again or recommend him to any person looking for professional service, quality materials, outstanding workmanship and beautiful results in their home.Thank you so much Tony, we appreciate everything you did for us.

Following a botched installation by another company, I was recommended Universal Stone to remove, repair and reinstall my kitchen. They adjusted everything on site and finished the whole job in less than 5 hours. Virtually impossible to spot or feel the joint in the bench top, looks like one piece of stone.
