Out from Sandstone, Heritage trail road. Fantastic structure worth the visit, picnic area and bbq. Lots of sandstone outcrops. Good picture opportunity.

Kind of awesome to be out here alone. You can really imagine what it was like for those early pioneers. Birds of prey are nesting high in the rock face

Fantastic place to visit with lots of great photo ops to be had. Don't walk across the bridge though, you don't want to be the person that makes it fall down...

Extraordinary sandstone breakout they call London Bridge. Worth a visit. Part of a 18 km Heritage Trail which we cycled early in the morning. Get the trail map 24x 7 from the Visitor Centre box or even from the Sandstone National Pub.

I thought the drive around the historic area in Samdstone would be a waste of time, but no, it was fantastic. Very interesting and well maintained. Great information at each site.
