So glad that there is somewhere in Pakenham that serves amazing Japanese food. Quality compares to food my partner and I often get in Melbourne. We ordered the beef rice bowl and the chicken katsu rice bowl. The beef was tender, the sauce was full of flavour. The chicken katsu was perfectly crispy, a perfect portion. The rice itself was fluffy and sticky. The staff were very friendly and service was fast and efficient. Definitely will be coming back :)

I've been to the best ramen restaurants in Melbourne and I've been to Oishi restaurant Pakenham and let me tell you there's no difference. The broth was very tasty and the egg was soft and tender. The only improvement I would suggest is not using plastic bowls for dine in guests.If you're looking for authentic Japanese ramen without having to go to the city I would highly recommend coming here.

A nice little ramen shop in the south-eastern suburbs. We ate inside, the setting was quite informal but did not impede on the experience too much. The posters with hand written annotations were a bit confusing, as there were menu items presented not on the printed menu. Ramen soup base was nice!

The food was awesome, Raman was full of flavour, but I love the stir fried rice with Eel, it was the best!! It was not like other places just left the eel on top of the rice, it did mix it in with sauce and egg. Also the popcorn chicken was so yummy, like the street food in Asian countries, definitely will go there again and try other dishes on the menu

Came here a couple weeks ago and the food were absolutely delicious. I had the unagi fried rice since it was my first time seeing this item on a menu, loved it, great smokey flavour too! Popcorn chicken were juicy and I think they sprinkled some pork floss on the takoyaki, which gave it a nice salty kick. Such a lovely little store, kind service and self serve sauces too.

Very small place but fantastic service and food, they were very patient and nice, they forgot my rice because they were busy but immediately got it for me when I mentioned it and I didn’t mind. I was only disappointed by how wet and flat the xiaolongbao was but otherwise some of the BEST Japanese and Asian food I’ve had that was from such a small place. The bao bun was so good I actually ate the vegetables in it and I’m a picky eater who NEVER does that LOL 100% recommend. Drinks were $5 each is my only real complaint

I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was. I ordered a ramen and it was on the same par with many other notable ramen shops. Service was good and the food was served fast. Happy to be supporting local businesses and to have a good japanese restsurant near home!
