We had a lovely dinner at Bob Sugar tonight, the food was great and the staff were exceptional. We had a few of the share options and the sticky rice for dessert, and the kitchen crew did a fantastic job. Our waitress was so accommodating and friendly without being over-attentive, and the bartender served some great cocktails for us and was even able to recommend a great drink of his own creation when I ordered off-menu. What a great place!

We had a brilliant lunch with 18 friends here recently. The manager Maddie was absolutely amazing with getting us booked in on a set menu with drinks included. On the day the service was impeccable, Maddie made sure we were well looked after and we all had a fabulous time. Thank you Maddie

Beautiful restaurant, however, the food was bit tasteless and bland. Moreover, the value of meals do not match their prices, bit pricy.

By far my favourite restaurant in Torquay! The service is great and the food is incredible...I love the variety on the menu, it has such an awesome range of dishes to choose from and everyone I take to Bob's always finds something they love.The cocktails are also next level...I am always disappointed when restaurants don't make an effort with these but Bob's are amazing. So delicious and well presented!I also love the restaurants vibe and fit out, it's so well done.Highly recommend!

This restaurant had various Asian fusion food, the best was the cauliflower fried. The second best we ordered was the burger which was delicious, the chicken was moist and the bread was soft. Liked the pickles and the fried rice crackers with sesame seeds.The jasmine rice was a bit dry and the Korean fried chicken was too crispy, dry and hard to eat with the rice. The katsu rice had the main tofu not coated properly making it not crispy and not fried enough.The view from the restaurant was also great with a clear view of the beach and open seats. The customer service was friendly and helpful. Good restaurant but could improve.

Wow! Bob Sugar is such an amazing experience, the design of the restaurant is amazing.The food is incredible, we tried just about everything and love it! My favourite has to be the fish curry.

The krispy kolli and karaage were sensational and the cocktails were yummy. But the bibimbap" was a terrible disappointment. A mound of unpleasantly mushy rice surrounded by flavourless veg and fungi did not satisfy. No hot pot

Best Saturday afternoon at Drag Bingo! I haven’t laughed and danced like that in a while!! Highly recommend for great food, great cocktails and 5 star service. Can’t wait for the next one!!

Great cozy little cafe along The Esplanade road. Not too busy when we went, even though the Sunday market was on. Japanese inspired menu. Ordered the katsu curry rice and my partner ordered deep fried cauliflower. Cauliflower was great but my curry was too salty. Great coffee though. Good spot to stop for lunch if you're visiting and literally on the beach front. What more could you ask for on a sunny day
