Legends. We are travelling around Australia towing a caravan, a long way from home. We had seen good reviews for AIS so booked in for our scheduled service, as well as a transmission service and wheel alignment - happy with all the work. Booking in was easy (surprised me they were able to get us in before Xmas/NY but seemed no issue for them and suited us perfect). Great communication from everyone and clearly the team take pride in their work, gave the car back washed, vacuumed and tyres shined :). When we picked the car up we even got a heap of local tips for our travels. Thanks to all the team for a friendly and thorough service, cheers

If I could give zero stars I would.My mum's car air conditioning was not working so she booked it in for an inspection, the diagnosis was a failed compressor after being told they hooked it up to their test machine. They changed a diagnosis fee and quoted $1700 for a new replacement compressor. That was a fair quote but I wanted to have a look at the car myself first.I am an electrician so know how to use a multi meter, I checked for 12v at the compressor clutch which was non existent, checked A/C system fuse which was good. Next step was to remove the A/C clutch relay and try with a known good relay from the fuse box, the horn relay was next to it and and was easy to test it was working.As soon as I inserted the horn relay into the A/C clutch relay position, the A/C clutch engaged... Boom there's the problem. It took me 5 mins and a $16 relay from Repco to get the air con working again!This was either a poor diagnosis or a deliberate attempt to overcharge a simple problem. How many other unsuspecting customers have been incorrectly diagnosed and overcharged?Would not recommend

We are travelling full-time and it is very hard to get our car serviced as we don't know where we are going to be months in advance so I was extremely impressed when AIS fitted us in on short notice and their service was top notch highly recommend these guys.

If you are considering any modifications to your Y62 / 4WD I can't recommend Jono and his team at Automotive Inspection Services highly enough. They supplied and fitted the Safari Snorkel, Hussla rims, Yokohama Geolander X AT, trailmax roofrack and Airbagman heavy duty bags. Their professionalism, workmanship, communication, knowledge of Y62s and customer service were of the highest quality. Jono is a true gentleman to deal with.
