Extremely happy with the hospital and staff members. Kind, friendly and informative. Step by step guide on procedures. Sense of humor with patients and makes them feel at ease throughout their stay. Very much recommended.

Had a four night stay in the hospital for a hip surgery and all the staff and nurses that I encountered was really nice.From admission right up to discharge the kindness and warm could be felt. special thanks to the nurse who was with me before and right up to the operating table , her comforting words of “don’t worry we will take good care of you” before I was knock out on the operating table gave me comfort. Much appreciation to all in the hospital, may your passion never ends and your kindness and empathy touch each and every patient of yours.

I was discharged today after a 4 day stay following a gastric sleeve- the staff here are just wonderful. All of the nurses, even those in training, were compassionate, able to explain everything well, and included me in conversations about my care while in the room with me. From the staff in the kitchen who bring meals, all the way to the cleaners on Flynn ward, thanks for making my stay comfortable and easy- a special shout-out to Donna the cleaner who always asked how I was doing despite it not being her job.The discharge nurse who walked me out today was especially great, energetic, engaging and explained as much as possible as to what I should expect over the next few days being at home. The level of care at Mulgrave is amazing. Thanks for looking after me!

COVID is now another flu, and my familymember who is ready to pass away within the next few hours are not allowed more than 2 visitors is ridiculous. Don’t cite COVID risks as why there is a nurse shortage. It’s a shame that one nurse named Bree has ruined this image of the hospital. I will not be choosing this place to look after my family especially when there would be other nurses in other hospitals that have offered even better service and true compassion - such as Cabrini.Absolutely disappointed in the lack of compassion from this nurse who is meant to be a caregiver and trusted to look after our sick and frail family.

Shout out to Dan the radiographer who went out of his way to make me comfortable during my MRI.Being severely claustrophobic, I went in a few weeks ago, had a panic attack and walked out.I returned today and Dan explained the whole procedure thoroughly. I took a sedative but still couldn’t go through with it and asked if Dan could stay in the room with me. He said a colleague was coming in, in 30 minutes and we could try again.At the second attempt, Dan was with me in the room the entire time and had a reassuring hand on my shoulder and kept talking to me.I did not panic once and remained calm the entire time and it was only because Dan was there to comfort me and kept me calm!Thank you Dan, appreciate your help so much!

What a wonderful hospital. I have never met such lovely people. The staff are amazing! They even gave me a snack while i waited for my husband. Highly recommended

On behalf of my mum Teresa hamilton. As next of kin, I had one 5 minute meeting with one Dr. No contact with a dr other than that, in 6 days! No phone call to advise latest update,nothing. Kenny ward fantastic staff!

This is the second time I have been in this facility in the last month. There was a medical issue that I brought to their attention prior to admission and despite me reiterating it on admission they failed and/or neglected to adhere to my reasonable medical request. After this admission I completed their survey and advised this serious issue about patient care. I was admitted again yesterday and despite advising them of my medical needs both in advance and on admission interview these were effectively ignored again causing great distress which has also had an affect on my health. I am currently admitted and cannot leave for another few days due to my condition. I have of course brought this to their attention and have effectively been given the corporate line" with no real reason for such bad treatment. I have lost all confidence in this facility and would discourage you from attending to your medical needs. I would particularly discourage any veterans or other people with special needs. I would have been better to attend a public hospital. I look forward to being discharged and never returning to such a poor medical facility where patient needs are ignored. I shall of course write a letter of complaint to the The state Health Minister and the Federal Minister for Veterans Affairs where I can of course fully ventilate my concerns as a google review would be an inappropriate venue for such detail. Notwithstanding the above the hard working front line medical and support staff was and is much appreciated. Thank you for listening to my review and I hope it is useful to you in your decision making procees. And some 6 months later l was required to attend at this facility again. Nothing has improved and again their treatment of veterans and their communication is in my opinion disgraceful- veterans avoid if at all possible it only served to aggravate my injuries."

My mom was admitted into MPH for stomach bleeding. She doesn’t speak English but she now speak most highly of the professionalism of the hospital. The team has been the most supportive and helpful! Thank you guys!
