I've been to many places and this... is definitely the worst! There's pee looking stains on the walls there's dust all down and in-between the bed and wall there's all the worst bugs you can think of and the walls are that thin you can hear people just open a doori really DO NOT recommend staying here as it's disgusting and I'll never stay there again but what I do recommend it check the reviews before going.

We knew we were in for a rough night when police were on site as we checked in and they were trying to move on unwanted guests partying on the lawn downstairs out the front. There were guests in pool parrying from 9 till just past midnight drunk. The lack of curtains in main room meant noise and light came in keeping us all awake. Then more “guests” returned at 1 and kicked on for another 2 plus hours.Place is run down not as per photos.Beds old and uncomfortable, walls carry all noise from every door opened and tap turned on.Windows missing half their Venetian blinds. We didn’t even put luggage on the Lounge as it was stained and filthy. We were concerned for vehicle and safety due to pool lighting no lock and prior lack of guest action after police presence.

Contacted reception a week in advance to ensure that we could secure a room for a night whilst on our way down south. Receptionist on the phone booked our room in for us and we thought it was secured. Arrived at the premises to the receptionist having arguments with other visitors, then to find that there was no booking for our stay in their booking system. Receptionist advised that they had a room for us to stay. Upon entering the room there was a horrendous BO/ mouldy smell throughout. Walls were filthy, lounges were filthy and the bathroom had a very strong urine stench, not to mention the thick layer of dead bugs and dust on the window frames. Close to zero security/ safety to the rooms and a very uneasy feeling about the place. Attempted to turn on air con which did not work. I was too scared to look at what we might find under the doona covers.. my partner and I locked up, dropped the key off and left the lodge to find somewhere else to stay. I would never recommend this to anyone, never have i paid for accommodation and just left, did not even feel comfortable enough to talk to the receptionist in regards to a refund.

Make sure you get key to room so there is no dispute re lost key and cost of door lock replacement (not just key replacement)

If you need something very budget then budget is what you will get here. Unfortunately this time for us the last occupants must have decided to rub their uncleaned arm pits all over the place, as the smell of BO was that bad we needed to get a can of Glen20. The cleanliness was average (and I am being nice) for the price as well, ended up using a blanket for the couch to give u an idea. One very good thing after all that, was the bed was very clean and nice to sleep in, if your sensitive to light when sleeping then I recommend getting to bed early. The blinds in the bed room are only really any good for privacy, the ones in the living room should be in the bedroom as well. Unfortunately not a choice I would pick again unless I absolutely needed to.

Stayed here nearly 10 years ago and it's definitely gone downhill. Started with my shower had old hair in it, I doubt it's been scrubbed since y2k. 2 mismatched thin towels and 1 hand towel I ended up using for a floor mat. The bathroom stunk like the sewerage was rotting in the pipes.Bed sheets didn't fit the bed and a sheet and thin blanket on the bed. It's winter! No spares. Ran heater but it sounded like a road train using its air brakes.Kitchen had 1 glass, 1 wine glass and a few plates and random cutlery. Decided to give the cooking a miss. After reading other reviews we were lucky enough to reviews 1 small tea towel. I wasn't game enough to make a cup of tea.Found someone's old sock under the couch, definitely wasn't ours. No foxtel anymore.Washer was ok, for $4.50. Dryer half dried my stuff for $4. Wasn't donating another $4 for 30 mins and used the furniture around the unit as a clothes line.If you need cheap and can take the nasty with it, go for gold. Thankfully I was only there so sleep but it wasn't enjoyable.Pics of the stunning bathroom, a little Ajax and a scrub it might look somewhat presentable.Other pic is showing my lovely sheets. Fitted are much easier if you struggle with matching flat sheets to beds.

Dreadful place. Filthy, disgusting and stank of cigarette smoke. Avoid at all costs. You would be safer staying in your car on the side of the road. Booked through agoda who offered a $24 refund on the $160 we paid. Agodo's website does not show the run down, filthy and disgusting rooms. We booked a family unit and were put in a room that looked like something from CSI. Avoid both abrolhos reef lodge and agoda.

I would not stay here again even I was paid to.The place seems to be used as emergency or social housing so there was constant fighting and shouting outside at night. There were blood stains on the bed linens, the bed was uncomfortable, there was a knife hidden behind the bathroom sink, a general smell of decay in the air, and suspicious stains on every carpet, and the hot tap is hot enough to scald you. Also no cutlery, no crockery, one glass, a dirty scouring pad with no dish soap, and both TVs in room 22 were broken.
