I had a complex situation that I tasked Fullstack with. To update 8 years worth of crypto transactions (over 1000) done on multiple exchanges (some now closed down). The purpose was to provide updated ATO returns for those years as well as the current one. Their understanding of the crypto market and its technicalities relating to Australian tax law, including staking, earning interest, yield farming, etc was up to the minute. I am currently engaging with them on a private binding ruling with the ATO and they have handled this seamlessly so far and we are now taking our relationship further by setting up a company and trust to set up effective tax structures in my business and crypto investments. Fullstack are definitely worth talking to if you have a considerable position in crypto investments.

It has taken a lot for me to finally write this - my first ever bad review of a company's service.I have experienced an absolutely unspeakably awful service over an extended period of time with Full Stack. I suspect they prioritise service for bigger businesses, so if you are a small business, beware! They are very difficult to communicate with, often taking weeks to simply respond to queries. Their attitude is to take the 'leave it to the last minute' approach in preparing and submitting returns. While this might follow the letter of the law under their obligations, it makes for a stressful ride as a business owner, especially when you need operational support for finance applications by a certain date and know you can't rely on your accountant to get these done for you.I have been keeping publicly quiet for over a year in the hopes of actually getting the accounting work done without angst. In July when I questioned exactly what was included in the updated services agreement, I was simply asked to find another accountant by Stuart by October 1. We agreed that was best, and I paid them to complete my FY21 financial reports so that I could move on cleanly. I asked about progress a week ago, noting that the engagement has been ended by their Principal, and also that I needed the updated reports for a finance application.I finally got the reply today with the advice that the returns are not due until May 2022, and 'they will start to be prepared within the next couple of months. A classic example of the team at Fullstack fulfilling their Financial Services obligations under the law
