Alkira Lodge has been excellent. It has been a big relief at a stressful time. The staff have been very kind, friendly and helpful. Simple rooms, with tv's and wardrobes. Nice lounge, dining and kitchen. It gives you a place to come back to and unwind. Should have more of these facilities!

Very nice and well located to hospital. Rooms are big enough for 2 people. The beds are comfortable enough so it's great time to sleep or relax. Albeit that they are single beds. Nice decor. Large bathroom. Communal kitchen has everything that you need. Seperate fridges and freezers available for rooms within lodge. All modern conveniences to make stay beneficial. Cupboards are clearly marked and labelled for easy convenience. You can also grab a book to read from library that is provided here. Plenty of seating available just near kitchen

My nephew has been staying here while he's been having cancer treatment, and I was very impressed with how well the patients werevcared for and how comfortable their home away from home was.

I really appreciate staying at the Alkira Lodge bed was comfortable & we didn't have to travel far from the hospital. Thank you Terry, we had a good over night stay.

I've stayed here a few times due to treatments being received at the hospital and it is a godsend. A virtual home away from home with full kitchen, extremely nice common areas and normally very quiet. Small amount of onsite parking only. Very helpful staff. Bedding and towels provided but you need to bring your own soap etc. Shared bathrooms.

Room was hot. Unable to open tiny corner windows. Aircon was not working very well, barely cooling. No onsite parking and on parked on street which was very hilly and difficult to walk. Alkira was very clean and staff that I saw were very pleasant. If I have to do this again I'll stay at a motel.

My stay here was very comfortable, the facility has a very clean well equipped kitchen and dining area. Thank you Terry and Dulcie for making my stay excellent.

Very, very clean and very, very friendly, because Dulcie, Patricia and Liz make it that way. A beautiful place to stay when you're being treated at the hospital or supporting a loved one who may have to endure treatment at the hospital.
